Batpaw nodded, lowering himself to the ground and squeezing through the hole. As soon as he was inside, he collapsed. The moss could wait a few minutes.....closing his filmy eyes for what felt like minutes, the petite tom slipped away. Soon enough, he awoke due to the feel of the sun warming up the cave. "Windtail?" he mewed quietly, unsure if his mentor was awake.

Snailpaw awoke with a start from a terrible dream. She sat curled up in her nest to calm her racing heart, and she let her ruffled fur lay flat. It was only a dream, and nothing more realizing her fellow apprentices had already woken up, she got to her paws and exited the den. She wasn't very hungry and the thought of what duties she had now didn't make her any hungrier. She set to work to take dirt to the dirt place, every now and then looking towards the camp entrance and medicine cats' den.

Antlerclaw had his pelt groomed and his muscles were ready for hunting. His cut lip had healed almost perfectly, though did bear a small scar, which would probably fade in a few days time. He looked towards Ravenstar and flicked his tail in greeting, dipping his head respectfully.

The leader sighed softly."That´s a decision he must make by himself." She meowed, eyes gently
clouding as she felt sympathy for the apprentice. WindTail must had been a very close friend for
her. Sighing softly, the leader got up, giving the apprentice a comforting lick over the ear before
turning around and heading out of the den. She saw AntlerClaw dip his head. RavenStar smiled
softly, dipping her head as well before trotting over to the warrior."How did you sleep?" The
leader asked kindly before sitting down beside him. AntlerClaw was a good friend of RavenStars,
and it was always nice to have him as company.

The old tom lifted his head from grooming, looking towards BatPaw."Yes?" He asked quietly, eyes
lightly widend.

"Are you going to go back?" Batpaw hated to ask, but he knew he had to. Rolling over to where his mentor laid, the ebony tom began gnawing lightly on his pawpad, filmy eyes closing shut again. Ravenstar needs you. The clan needs you, as soon as possible. Who knows when something can happen... and as cruel as she acted, Sunpaw can't handle it.

"Will you?" The white tom paused from grooming and was now staring at BatPaw. He didn´t want to leave BatPaw
here alone like this, especially when he´s wounded.

Batpaw gave a distraught hiss. "Your really going to be like that, Windtail? After all of the explosions we've caused? We both really... don't need to go..." the ebony tom trailed off, before exhaling and standing up. "If I will, will you?" I can always leave after keeping my last words to Ravenstar...

"Yes.." He mumbled softly, taken back by BatPaws words."Shall we go now?" The tom asked quietly, feeling
his ears still flatten. BatPaw was still mad at him, BatPaw still hated him...

Batpaw opened his maw to say yes, but closed it again wordlessly. Windtail was mumbling. Was the healer that upset with him still, or had he seen through the pathetic wall of lies? The ebony tom leaned forward and sniffed at Windtail's face, his whiskers lightly brushing his mentor's face. No tears.... withdrawing very quickly, the petite tom sneezed hard, before shaking his pelt out. "What's wrong?" Batpaw said, lowering his voice and plopping on his rear, doing his best to try and keep a level tone without whimpering or yowling. And trying to keep from bawling again, or losing his head.

"N- Nothing.. Lets just hurry and start moving back to Camp." WindTail meowed quickly, getting to
his paws. The sooner they got back, the better.

"Windtail, it doesn't work that way," Batpaw whispered, darting to cut off his mentor. "If we both go back with this on our chests, we will both explode, and eventually we will completely snap." After a few seconds, his filmy eyes opened and he looked at Windtail. "The reason I don't want to go back is because I don't feel myself anymore. I-I lost it after fighting with Sunpaw. My eye still aches- I don't even know if it's there... for a second, I-i thought I was someone else. A monster for vengeance. Someone that could survive alone, someone that fears and hates Starclan, someone that will kill and thrive in spite of their problems, someone independent and free...... then the next moment I'm sleeping with you in a cave, praying Starclan sends me a sign, thinking of an apology, bawling like a lost kit.... I have no control over myself and I don't think you or the clan can take me anymore."
