The tom yawned tiredly, slowly waking up. It was bearly after dawn. The tom gave a few quick licks
over his pelt before exiting the den. StoneFur stretched his paws lighty in the early morning sun,
giving a quick glanze over Camp. Even RavenStar wasn´t awake yet.

He slowly made his way back down the tree; digging his claws into bark as he pulled his back legs down slowly. Once on the ground, he stretched, drawing out hi front paws and arching his back. Perhaps it was not the wisest idea to sleep in a tree, as now his joints hurt- and they had no medicene cat.

He huffed reluctantly, and slowly he stalked his way through the trees.
He reached camp, and slunk through bushes and ferns; avoiding any cat he could.

They were all waking up. If he was caught sneaking back in, he would most likely be in trouble. Has anyone even noticed his absence?

The leader exited her den, her fur well-groomed. She noticed TimberFrost enter Camp. RavenStar padded
over, dipping her head quietly towards him."Have you given thought on todays patrols?" She asked, not
going to bother asking where he had been.

He shrunk back, afraid to open his mouth. How has she just greeted him so openly? Maybe she hadn't pressured rosedawn into confessing, and she didn't know? Was she okay? He had left so quickly, he wasn't sure what had actually happened.
"No-no Ravenstar. Well- not yet." He stuttered awkwardly, trying his hardest to sound smoother than he did.
"H-how about Antlerclaw, Tigerblaze, Stonefur... Maybe one of the apprentices... And I could tag along too." He suggested, weakly. He didn't stand as tall or proud today, he seemed a little cautous.

"Hmm... TigerBlaze should stay in Camp. And the apprentices will have to start cleaning the dens,
remember?" RavenStar asked, noticing the deputys cautious movement."TimberFrost, are you feeling
alright?" She asked, tilting her head lightly.

"Alright?" He repeated. "Of course I'm alright? Why wouldn't I be alright?" He spoke a little to quickly.
He lashed his tail anxiously, and was silent for a moment. He let out a loud sigh, and stared at his paws.
"Am I still deputy?" He asked quietly.
