" If something means something to you,
you have to fight for it with all you've got! "

    name: Setsuna Dragneel
    Age: 17
    Magic: Fire Dragon Slayer
    tagged: Vain, Takashi, Akira
    location: The guild

Setsuna bristled as Akira turned her back on her in favor to pick a job with Takashi. Part of her brain was telling her that it was better if she didn't have a full on brawl this early in the morning, but the majority of her thoughts was trained on 'dude! Let's battle!' Which was a trait she strongly inherited straight from her grandfather. Of course, that'd definitely meant that by ignoring her, Akira was only successfully pissing Setsuna off even more. "Oi! Don't just pick a fight and then ignore me!" she frowned, growling loudly as her hands ignored in bright crimson and orange flames. The blond was ready to go, and she moved her pigtails back into one ponytail, eyes narrowed a bit as she called Akira. "Put up your fists like a real mage!" Seriously - it seemed as though she was begging for a beating. It was a good thing Setsuna was powerful - otherwise she would have been beaten to death more than a year ago. Master Cana (as ancient as she was) even told her that she was too much like Natsu for her own good, but the Fire Dragon Slayer just didn't care. In fact, she rather liked being compared to him! She practically idolized Natsu as the 'best mage ever'. He even (when he was still alive) gave her his home to live in - which was particularily nice considering her relationship with her mother was rocky.

A slight grunt left the mage's lips as people started to fill up the guild. How troublesome. Considering this was no longer a place of quiet, she stood up and promptly began to walk out of the guild, brushing past anyone who could have possibly been in her way while the heels of her boots clicked on the floor noisily. That was a sound that she didn't mind, but the brainless chatter is what definitely got on her nerves. She didn't nother go announce her departure as she left. She had no need to. If someone had wanted to know where she was going, they could always ask. Not like she'd actually provide them with an answer. Hanaru was a mage of little words, and she honestly did her best job to keep it that way. Leaving the guild, she looked around in silence and began to wonder where she really should go. Deciding on getting something caffeinated to wake gerself up, she found her feet moving towards a familiar cafe, taking a seat at one id the outside tables. The waitresses and staff were still kind of frightened by her regular appearance there, but they recieved her order none the less. It seemed her reputation always preceded her current actions. Not like she cared, though. Apparently just last month she had been written about in sorcer's weekly, saying that she was one of the most reliable and ruthless mage's in Fiore. She didn't know why the journalist had felt compelled to do an article on her, but again, did she really care? No, lot really. Sighing softly, her ears and she focused her molten lava eyes onto the street, keeping a lookout for interesting characters.

    location: The guild

Yuyake had been out and about that morning, busy flirting with the local girls. He was pretty well-known as a womanizer, and so what? He couldn't help it! Women were all beautiful in their own way, and he didn't mind expressing that openly. Unfortunately for him, this also recieved him a lot of male enemies. They were probably just jealous of his natural charm and easy-going nature that always seemed to catch a woman's eye, and at this point in time, the red haired male was sashaying towards the door of the guild, a couple girls on each arm. Slipping out of their grips, he waved to them in a saddened gesture. "I'm truly sorry, m'dears, but I have to show up for work now, and Master Cana has forbidden anyone who is not a member of the guild from entering. I'm sure you can understand?" They nodded a bit glumly at his words, but he simply waved off their discouraged faces. "However, do not fret! For I will find you once I know if I'm not doing anything important at the guild today." he told them, winking deviously and the girls fawned at it, believing every word while practically dancing away. It wasn't as though Yuyake lied to them! Okay, maybe a little. Sometimes his charms worked just a bit too much for his own good. He had been trying to get away from those girls since he had found them outside his apartment this morning. Sighing in a tired manner, Yuyake pushed open the doors of the guild to see a random fight breaking out. Sighing, he shook his head, think about the brain cells he might lose from just listening to 'Baka-Suna', as he tended to call her. Looking about the guild for someone interesting to sit next to, he decided to just sit at the bar and watch how this all played out (like most there were doing, it seemed).

It had been at least two weeks since Amyas had been at the guild. He had gone on a solo mission to decode an ancient scroll for a group of treasure hunters who where ended up getting stuck in the cave. Amyas was so glad to finally be home. Just has he walked threw the doors of the guild, the disgusting smell of Vain's coffee filled his dragon slayer sensitive nose that almost made him vomit. Though, the sound of Setsuna's voice filled his ears as she yelled at Akira. He rolled his crismon eyes as he said,"Setsuna, you don't always have to pick a fight."Sometimes he never understood how she could pick a fight almost everyday, though he did understand a little but he would never admit it.

Amyas' body hurt from having to pound open a hole to get out of the cave with the treasure hunters. All he wanted to do was either sit down and relax with a drink or lay down in his bed that was calling his name over and over agin. Though, he knew deep down he wouldn't be able to to do that, because he knew Setsuna would want to pick a fight sometime and he could never turn down a fight with her. He could never figure out why. Just something about her really frustrated him.

After the fifth time Seren hit 'snooze' and came to the realization that her alarm clock wasn't going to shut off anytime soon. As she slowly pulled her tired body out of her comfy bed, that she didn't want to leave, she let out a groan of regret. Morning were totally not Seren's things. All she wanted to do was sleep all day away, but she knew she would get her butt chewed by her fellow guild mates. She forced herself to get dressed and brush her rat nest-like hair. When she looked in the mirror and thought she finally looked presentable, she picked up the keys to her apartment and headed out the door towards her guild.

As she walked towards her guild, she debated if she wanted to grab a cup of coffee at the cafe that was around the corner from her apartment and on the way to the guild. After a while, she finally decided to. When she got to the cafe she realized Hanaru happened to be there. As she passed her fellow guild mate, she let out a groan as a hello. Seren wasn't in the mood to really talk to anyone until she got her coffee. Right when she took a seat at a table, a waitress appeared out of now where and asked if she wanted her usual. The poor dead-tired Seren was only able to nod a yes. After a few minutes, the waitress soon showed up with a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin.
"Thank you.."Seren managed out and the waitress nodded with a small smile before leaving to take care of another customer. Coffee was like magic to Seren, she was never able to understand its ways to be able to wake her up just by one sip and make her feel so much lively. Though, it did it and she never question it.

Since Jakobe seemed to really be the only one working behind the bar for Silver's Coffin and he usually took care of all the cleaning as well, he was usually at the guild after Aria or gets there right when she does. Even though he works at the guild's bar, he still is able to go on some jobs. Though, he just spends sometime at the bar. It wasn't like he didn't like to fight or anything, it was because he thought he was needed at the guild and bar more than going out on a job.

Today Jak had showed up at the guild a few minutes after Aria, he had cleaned up a little from yesterday so everyone could sit somewhere that was clean and sanitized. Jakobe was kind of OCD, but he would never admit that. He just says he like to be organized and clean so everything isn't cluttered. His dark blue Nikora, named Linus, was sitting on his shoulder as he wiped down the counter and watched the people in his guild that had already showed up. Honestly, he thought of himself more of the watchful kind that the kind that actually gets into some of the 'action'. Though, he actually felt it was quieter than usual. Probably because it was kind of still in the morning and not everyone in the guild had showers up yet.

Trinity's dull eyes scanned the guild again as she chewed on her food, scrutinizing the two squabbling girls for a while. They certainly seemed to clash extremely often, but the headmaster was strangely okay with it. Then again, she had heard tales about fairy tail, it's members destroying almost everything they got their hands on. Perhaps Setsuna had inherited some of those destructive traits from her grandfather. Trinity shuddered at the thought; she hoped that Setsuna didn't have a tendency to break things as frequently as her grandfather. The bills for damaged property were a massive pain, something she knew firsthand when she accidentally teleported into the middle of a bar and proceeded to destroy an entire shelf filled with alcohol, a table, and three chairs. Sighing, she dutifully got up to put away her plates, still wincing as the prickling, burning feeling of her burnt tongue remained. She really shouldn't have drunk the tea so quickly.

On the way back to her seat, Trinity saw an unfamiliar face walk into the guild hall. She had only been gone a little over a month; it seemed the guild was getting a bit more active. Smoothly falling into step beside Amyas, she carefully scrutinized him, eyes narrowed slightly in contemplation. "Would you perhaps be a new recruit?" Trinity murmured, voice calm and level and only a tiny bit louder than the general dinn of the hall. "Forgive me, I just didn't seem to recognize you, I was recently on a mission that had me away for a month."

Xavier enjoyed his meal in peace, although -unbeknownst to him- he still looked quite stiff and pretentious, sitting there with perfect posture and vaguely business-like clothing. Clearing his throat and nursing his morning tea, he surveyed the guild, trying to take everyone in. In the business world, he had always been pressured to know everyone and anyone's name and basic information. Something abut it making them feel more important and recognized; it was often a very good way to leave a first impression. Now, it had sort of become habit, and he was hard at work memorizing everyone's basic information, despite the fact that he had only arrived at the guild a week prior. Eyes landing on a guy that had just walked in, Xavier tried to remember who he was. His name was Yuyake Esmerel, that was for sure... But Xavier seemed to have forgotten what type of magic he used. Frustrated to no end, he ran through many different possibilities in his head, trying to see which one fit the bill.

Some type of heaven magic. Heaven... Eye? No... Hrm... His eyes strayed over to Yuhake again, staring intensely at him for a second. He absolutely needed to know. He was trying to be more... Ah, approachable, anyways; he still gave off an infuriatingly smug and self-satisfied aura, something he was trying to dispel. Kind of. Cleaning up his meal and returning the plates, he walked up to Yuyake, sliding into the seat beside him at the bar. "...Hello." He said smoothly, giving Yuyake a faint grin. "I couldn't quite but notice those women attracted to you like moths to a flame. Is it just your looks or is your magic playing a role?" Slight amusement shone in his voice and quirkier a corner of his mouth up as he stared at Yuyake, genuinely curious. The man did seem to have no shortage of women to flaunt, and it was a curious thing in and of itself.

Alexandra felt quite lonely sitting there by herself, although her pile of food should have been a sufficient distraction, or at least something to occupy her. Plowing through the meal at quite a fast pace -any lesser person would have had a stomachache form- she decided to get up and interact with a few of her lovely guildmates. Eyes landed on her target -ah, guild member, who was sitting by herself.

Alexandra promptly grabbed her tray, walked over to where Etsuko was sitting, and slammed it down, quite unconsciously, plopping into a seat a second afterwards. "Hiya!" She chirped cheerfully, stuffing a pancake into her mouth. Chewing rapidly and miraculously swallowing without choking, Alexandra grinned and unconsciously leaned closer, eyes bright and searching. "How are you this fine morning, Etsuko? Did you have a good night's sleep? You look kinda tired. Did you sleep enough? You should always sleep enough, y'know." She took on a faintly worried air, instantly reminded of her little brothers back a home who would always sneak out at night to play soldiers or spar when they thought no one was looking. "Sleep is very important!" She crowed, with a finality that seemed to end an argument. Even though there was none. "Anyways! Have you checked the guild board yet? It seems to me that the board's been kinda empty lately. Maybe it's that new guild coming up and taking the quests, eh?" She chuckled to herself, speaking rapidly between large bites of assorted breakfast carbs and proteins, although her eyes never left Etsuko's.

Aria calmly regarded Haru out of the corner of her eye. As usual, he was trying to be antagonistic, attempting to simultaneously get a rise of of both her and Etsuko, and as per usual, he seemed to be failing. With her, anyways, Aria couldn't vouch for Etsuko. Sometimes, Aria wondered if it was a mistake letting him into the guild, but a dragon slayer was a valuable asset, and not one to be turned away. Still, he could stand to be less antagonistic. "Nothing special," She said, "Just more of the same. Still, there is one I'd like one of you to take. In fact, I think you'd be a perfect fit."

Reaching into her pocket, Aria pulled out a folded slip of paper, holding it out to her subordinate. The job itself was nothing special, a far lower class wizard would probably have been able to complete it easily, but it was the circumstances under which said job was obtained that required Haru's skill level. Late last night, one of Aria's shadier contacts had broken into the Glittering knight guild hall and copied the job Aria now held from their job board. Aria was sending Haru on this mission because there'd probably be members from the rival guild going on it as well, which would provide her with the perfect opportunity to thin the ranks of Glittering Knight a bit. They were getting a bit too strong for her liking, and she wasn't going to have anyone challenging Silver Coffin for the title of top guild. "It's pretty simple, really, just taking out some bandits. Someone like you should be able to do this easily."

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. Phew. I think I just helped her dodge a bullet. As well as saved himself the trouble of having to clean up the guild hall after the fight took place. Cause everyone knew the hall would become a mess if those two decided to pick a fight with each other. What, with her lightning dragon slayer magic and Setsuna's fire dragon slayer magic - there may not have even been a guild hall left.

He tried his best to not allow the relief to show too much on his face. The last thing he wanted was to show them the satisfaction of how he thought they were much stronger than him. Even if they were both the same class as him.

Takashi turned his attention back towards Akira, squinting at the job she was pointing to. He frowned for a moment as he skimmed over it before smirking. "Some thieves eh? Gotta teach 'em a lesson?" And while it sounded like a lot of work, he decided complaining wasn't the best idea right now. They would both make some decent money on this job and it didn't sound overly complicated or long. So Takashi decided to try and make the best out of it. "Sounds like a plan to me, Akira. I'm ready whenever you are."

He glanced over towards the rest of the Guild Hall, watching as it slowly began to fill up with the rest of the members. The hairs on the back of his neck began to rise at the angry voice of Setsuna. Dear lord, I wish she'd just let it go before we do have a freakin' mess on our hands. And he was about to say something (quietly, of course) when Amyas -- the iron dragon slayer -- spoke up.

"A-okay, Akira, I say we get outta' here before all hell breaks loose, yeah?" He whispered quietly, eyes flickering between the two dragon slayers.

She tore another piece of her bagel off and popped it in her mouth, chewing it thoughtfully, her mind lost in thought. She spotted Haru next to Aria, staring at her, and Etsuko rolled her eyes. He looks like a creep staring at me and Aria like that...

As Etsuko swallowed, someone slammed their tray down next to her and caused Etsuko to choke and fall into a hysterical coughing fit while someone began to ramble on and on with an endless amount of questions. This is it. My final moments. I die here, choking on a bagel. What a way to go. She thought to herself, smacking her chest with a closed fist, as if that would help shake the rest of the bagel down.

Without hesitating, Etsuko grabbed whatever drink was on Alexandra's tray, gulping it down to help wash anything else leftover down to where it was supposed to go. "I slept fine!" She exclaimed, though her voice came out quiet and hoarse. "I haven't checked the guild board yet. I'm trying to eat my breakfast until you almost killed me! You can't just go slamming stuff around this early in the morning. You'll give someone a heart attack..." She muttered, cautiously tearing an even smaller piece of bagel off and popping it into her mouth. She sighed, leaning back into her chair. She hesitated before asking, "And how did you sleep Alexandra?"

Kazimir had a serious and terrible case of insomnia. But thankfully, sleep wasn't a necessity to his body like most human's. It was needed, but only in small quantities. So Kazimir simply napped. Being part demon made him feel more active and powerful in the evening, so he often took some of the lower-ranked jobs and performed those in the evening. Preferably the ones that involved bandits since ambushing and tracking was one of his specialties. And since he didn't really mind scaring the crap out of them. Demons were especially good at that.

Kazimir silently made his way into the guild hall, nodding his head or waving in the direction of those he knew. A lot of people were still intimidated by Kazimir. He's still relatively knew to the guild but flew through the ranks with flying colors. Now a rank of s, Kazimir still can't help but feel like an oddball in the guild. Even though he feels like he should have retained the other's trust by now. But Kazimir tried to understand it could be hard to trust a guy with pointed ears, fangs, and a fluffy, long black tail.

"Hey," Kazimir said as he took a seat across from Jakobe at the bar. Right now, his fangs were itching for something sweet. "Have anything back there that could consist of a chocolate shake?" He asked sheepishly, his tail twitching behind him. "And would you wanna' go check the board out with me?"

Kazimir had to admit, he didn't know Jakobe too well. But the guy seemed nice. And Kazimir had heard a rumor that his celestial magic was phenomenal. So why not offer up to do a job with the guy?

The sun soaked into his cloak as Ryoto finally reached the edge of his guild's home town. Much like his ancestors before him, he often went on longer jobs than most; but in his case, it was not because he preferred it that way, but because he had to take difficult jobs just to ensure that he didn't destroy a whole town every time he merely threw a punch. Crash magic, as he quickly learned, had a tendency of getting out of hand rather quickly, and the last thing his guild needed was to become infamous when they had already worked so hard to recruit new members. He quietly picked his way through the town streets, not heading anywhere in particular. He had hoped to arrive back into town a little earlier for the sole reason of avoiding any midday brawls in the guild hall, because unfortunately, he was awkward around large groups of people, even if they were all close acquaintances. However, it seemed luck was not on his side today. So instead, he made a few rounds across town before finding his way to a familiar street-corner cafe.

As he neared the smallish coffee shop, he saw dark red eyes peering at him from a seat at the bar. His gaze slid from hers as he sat down at the bar, leaving a seat between them. He barely had to mutter, "The regular," to the man working the bar before he was off preparing a rather strong brew Ryoto favored. Again, he felt the girl's eyes flicker in his direction, if only for a moment. That's curious, he thought. Earlier, when her eyes met with his, he didn't get the impression that she was looking for someone. So if she wasn't waiting for someone, what was she glancing around for. He received his steaming cup from the worker with murmured gratitude, sipping out of the cup while he pondered.
