Swiftstar nodded. She looked around at the surroundings. "So many moons ago, the fire... but now our home is back to normal." she purred happily. There had been a horrible forest fire and StormClan had to shelter with LightningClan for about half a moon or so.

He blushed. "I just got lucky." Hawkfeather pushed the fish aside gently with his paw and turned back around and gasped. "Fiercestrike, that's excellent! Good position!" he exclaimed with a huge smile on his face. "So first, you need to make sure your shadow doesn't fall on the water," He explained. "Then search the water for an easy target. After you've found one, unsheate your claws and prepare to pounce. Aim for where you think the fish will dodge to and then bring it up onto the surface and quickly bite it to the neck. Make sure you're not too close to the edge though. Otherwise you might fall in." he chuckled.

Hornetclaw sighed and began walking through tight birch
trees. "I was just a young warrior then.." he murmured and pushed
through the trees. Why cant we have a normal conversation?
Is trying for a relationship really worth it?

Fiercestrike

She blushed a little when he mentioned her position but then she listened to his instructions, "Okay," she said in a whisper, almost as if she didn't want the fish to hear her and get startled. First, no shadow on the water, she thought silently and looked at the water, then...what was it? OH, search for an easy target, she looked at the river carefully...when she saw the beautiful fish, her tail went back and forth again and she corrected her position and then then jumped out, her claws wide to grab the fish and she landed right next to the fish but got a handful of the mud at the bottom of the river. She made a huge splash and she found herself in the middle of the river, soaked to the skin. She growled, "Grr..."

She nodded and silently padded through the birch trees. (Not literally xD) Swiftstar felt very awkward. It seemed as if Hornetclaw was just trying to talk about them. Why did I even bother to come? she thought and looked down at his her paws.

Hawkfeather chuckled a bit. He didn't intend to do so but he just couldn't help it when she fell into the river. "Nice try!" he smirked. "Do you need any help getting out of that water?"

(Writers block, it seems like I've had that a lot today. *sighs*)

Fiercestrike

She blushed a little, "Erm...it's okay...I think I'll swim for a little."
Fiercestrike went around the river, paddling hard. Her head was right above the surface, staying up high.

He chuckled. Fiercestrike was so weird to him, but in a good way. Normal cats are boring. Hawkfeather watched as she swam around with a smile. "Will you get out soon, because you're scaring all the fish away!" he pointed out.

She paused in the water and frowned a little, "True."
Suddenly she took a dive in the water, creating a huge wave for the rest of the water. She came to the surface with a fish in her mouth. "Weshadoth---" she tried to speak with the fish in her mouth but then put it in front of Hawkfeather's paws and then bit it.
"Is it dead?" she asked, eyeing the fish suspiciously, but then said, "You know, that was actually really fun."

Hawkfeather sighed in relief. Finally she was going to get out of the water! The tom was being a bit impatient, but be didn't care. Hawkfeather watched as she caught a fish and smiled. "Good job Fiercestrike!" he exclaimed. "Yes, I think you killed it completely. Yes, it is fun!" he meowed.

Fiercestrike

She smiled, pleased with herself. She lifted herself out of the water and trotted away from the water. When she was far enough away, she shook herself, trying to get the water out of her fur. She started licking her paws, which still had mud on them.

((Oh goodness, um uh i guess whoever is open can have one or something of their cats come and RP with hunter i guess? Ill just leave this post here.))

Hunter gave the last few licks to his tail fur, his grooming session coming to an end after he had learned how to hunt fish. He was still amateur-ish at it, but he had brought back two smaller fish for the pile of prey in the clearing.

He had overheard that the cats had called it the "Fresh Kill pile." It was odd, but he supposed that it was an accurate name. He eyed around the clearing, and noticed some kits playing around the entrance of the birthing place, or the "Nursery" here in the clan. He couldn't help but smile as the kits scampered off, memories of his own kithood starting to trickle back into the forefront of his mind.
