It might have been better if Spottedleaf was much younger. Because really, a full grown medicine cat paired with a apprentice of 6 moons?

While that was one of the issues I had, then another reason to hate it, it's like Firepaw/heart/star just woke up one day and said to himself ''I'm gonna have a crush on a cat much older than me, totally stalk her, and then act like I knew her for 9 years when she dies although it was only a couple moons.''

spottedleaf was around 3 years when she died so that would mean they were 2 and a half years apart lmao
