Leopardpaw nodded in thanks, her tail flicking, her eyes filled with pride. She wanted to ask him how she had done but what could be said around a mouthful of fur?

Snowstripe looked over Flowerpetal "Relax. Go ahead and lay down. You'll need to feel the pain so you know when the babies come." he meowed, laying a paw on her stomach as a spasm grasped at her body. He glanced over to where Goldstripe had just entered "Get me a stick. Something that won't splinter. Not to small but not too big." he meowed, flicking his tail in dismissal.

Silently, the tom led the way back to camp. His fur rose slightly as he made sure to be careful not to actually pierce the meet with his extended incisors.

Leopardpaw's stomach grumbled as the blood dripped down her throat. She let out a small growl and picked up her pace, eager to get back to camp.


Snowstripe gave her a grateful nod and passed the stick off to Petalflower. "You can bite down on this if you need." he meowed.

Adderbite let out a purr "She likes me too." he meowed, glancing at his friend. He flicked his tail, his pelt bristling with excitement.

She called over to him softly as she walked through the forest, losing him in the brush.
