He narrowed his eyes and hissed quietly. "Stop it! I want to be up here without my mentor squawking to me about 'learning the ways of the mountains'." Quoting the warrior in a She-Cat voice, he mumbled angrily to himself before crouching. He spotted a bird on a strong limb and decided to start hunting it.

The rouge leaped under a bush, hiding her pelt. She heard the aggravated mewl of a young cat and looked up to see the two apprentices in the tree they had climbed. By staying downwind, she could smell both the males and the bird they were hunting. A strange feeling came over her as a familiar scent wafted her way. Her tail curled around her paws, attempting to keep hidden.

The tom gazed at vinepaw, "i saw a few hares around the forest" he said softly his ears flicking as he gazed at the bird. His claws flicked out as he moved clawing down the tree as he gazed around. Nodding to vinepaw as he crouched down lashing his tail as he curled his tail around his paws before pouncing on a fluffy chipmunk that was eating a nut on the forest floor.[wb]

The apprentice purred at her mentors praise before turning her attention to Fridgidstrife, "Well thank you Fridgidstrife" she said softly she turned to the brute before looking at her mentor. "What we will be doing now?" She she cat asked, her thick fur blew around as she looked over slightly around. Her paws itched for hunting but she also wanted to head back seeing if some other cats where awake, and maybe speak to her brother about what was happening, flicking her paws as she smiled looking to the two adult cats.

The deputy stretched out her paws, she was in the middle of the warriors den, where she slept, and was yawning as she slowly woke up. Her eyes blinked as she stretched out her paws giving herself a few good licks. She need to organize a dawn patrol, the warriors den was located inside of a cave to keep them warm, although she twitched her tail before turning to wake up a few other cats to see if they wanted to come with her on the patrol. Low light was flooding into the den as she let out another yawn, the sun was not high yet and the sky was still forming from its darkness to a light ray of blue, it gave off a yellowish pink glow as she flicked her tail before giving her paws a shake from the snow that had seeped into the cave.

The brute had moved his paws as the his white fur pushed trough the snow before he was sighing. No prey was out this early and he was getting colder although he was quite happy to be away from camp, there where a lot of cats running around camp and that was the last place he wanted to be.. Flicking his tail as he pushed himself closer to the snowy ground, it was winter, although it was slowly turning spring and a few flowers peaked out of the low snow. He smiled as a rabbit bounced around, he smirked as he wiggled his rump before he pounced on the animal giving it a quick bite to the back of the neck and killing it swiftly.

he smiled and stood, his scared long pelt rippiled in the sunlight at he lifted a paw "
unless you want me to come hunt with you..." he mewled.

The tom rolled his eyes softly as he picked up the small animal he had in his jaws. He trotted up to vinepaw before shaking his head, "So Spiritstar said soon new warriors will be announced" he said softly his tail twitching as he turned around, his ears pinned to his skull as they moved into the camp. He dropped his prey by the freshkill pile before shaking his head as he let out a soft yawn turning back to vinepaw.

"Tch. Just means there will be extra room in the app's den." He said through muffled jaws. Dropping the bird at the foot of the pile he sighed as well and sat down. "Not that I mind it, though. Do you think you've got a chance of becoming one?" He asked nicely, not having an intent of offending the other young cat.

She laughed under her breath. "Don't worry, I see how it could get annoying to have a ton of warriors following you." She had a good feeling about the upcoming warrior pick, except for her brother. "Although, I DO know one or two Apprentices that would be troublesome- but not you, Frostpaw."
