She chuckled lightly, blue eyes bright. "Okay, sure." she smiled. She watched in awe as the golden tom swiped out a fish that quickly. She attempted to copy his movements, but ended up nearly falling into the water. Catching herself, she groaned. "This'll be quite tough." she commented. She attempted again, but got nothing.

She attempted to copy his movements, but ended up nearly falling into the water. Catching herself, she groaned. "This'll be quite tough." she commented. She attempted again, but got nothing.

Hawktalon nearly chuckled at her falling, for a brief second considering pushing her in. Deciding against it- for now- his emerald eyes followed her paw. Gently brushing her flank with his bushy tail, he murmured "Don't strike where they are; strike where they will be. Follow the movements of their tail."

WindTail sighed softly to himself, curling up on the cold ground as well. He had quite a distance
from BatPaw, unsure how to feel or what to do.

Batpaw was actually resting fine, until the dreams came. Then, he began to cry and mewl miserably in his sleep, his claws flailing about as he fought in his dreams. Most of the times, the mewls that came from his maw sounded like a kits'. Occasionally, his filmy eyes would flicker open, the dried tears visible beneath his eyes were bags had gathered. This rest seemed to be doing more harm than good, and it became apparent so when Batpaw began to silently whimper to himself, awake again.

As his fluffy tail brushed her fur, she felt her heart begin to race, yet she didn't know why. She glanced up at him, listening to his instructions carefully. She looked back down at the water, noticing their silver scales. They faintly reminded her of her mother's silver pelt. With a slightly smile, she did what Hawktalon had told her to do. She watched as one swam by, and shot her paw in about a mouse-length ahead. She hooked her claws into the scaly, slimy skin she tossed it into the air, catching it between her jaws.

Hawktalon grinned at her, feeling a warm rush in his chest. "That was another great catch," he mewed, straightening up and throwing a lazy arch in his back, a long yawn escaping his maw. Then turning to her, his emerald eyes locked on hers for a second before he quickly turned away. "We should head back; it's later than I thought it was," Hawktalon stated, his voice softer than usuall. Hesitating for a second, his smile then grew a bit wider. "Your going to need your rest; you still owe me that hunting trip," he stated playfully, his eyes meeting hers for a second again before he turned and padded up the path, heading for where the sparrow and mouse where stored.

She smiled at the compliment," Thank you." she smiled. As he locked his eyes on hers, she felt for a moment as if she could get lost in his emerald gaze. As he looked away, she shook out her fur. She glanced up at the sky and nodded," It is late." she commented. She smiled back, happy to spend another day with the tom without interruptions. She grabbed the fish and followed the golden tom, her silver pelt soon growing illuminated by the stars.
