Aspenthorn tilted his head and broke into a purr, smiling calmly. "You must be a kittypet then. Well, I won't hurt you." The large tom raised one paw, showing her his large claws as a joke. "I was bitten by an adder yesterday, and my..." He wondered if Chickadeeflight was his mate or not, deciding against sharing that he continued. "My clan's medicine cat would kill me if I hurt myself further." He looked down at the bird, blinking slowly. "Did you catch that? Most kittypets are too slow and dull to hunt for themselves. Considering they don't need to." He looked around the woods closing his eyes calmly as he purred lightly, enjoying the warm light filtering through the trees. "It is a nice place to explore. Although most of my clanmates would not be as happy and calm as I if they had found you here."

The kitten gazed around, she wanted someone to play with, although there where not many kits in the clan for now and she was unsure where Featherkit was. Her ears flicked as she smiled at hawktalon before bounding over to him. "Hello Hawktalon!" She said happily wiggling her rump as she bounced around the warrior. Her tail moved about as she bounced pawing playful at the warriors paws.

The elder flicked his tail as he begin licking his fur, it had taken him a while to wake up and he was still just as tired as before. Although he was very interested in seeing who was awake, he smiled at cherrykit before flicking his tail as he sniffed the ground. He was hungry, his paws reached out as he stretched before standing up. He smirked softly as he moved trotting to the freshkill pile, although he did not ask for prey from other cats he enjoyed going to get it by himself.

Pushing the bird to the tom as she smiled, "A peace offering, i have been trying to find the forest cats for some time" She said softly her tail flicking as she gazed at him. Her ears pinned back as she attempted to look into where the camp was, licking her muzzle as she smiled looking at the handsome tom.

His paws moved as he pushed them to his muzzle and giving it a few good licks as he let out a soft sigh.

Shadowpaw flicked his tail, he was quite tired, although his ears perked up as he let out a soft yawn as he moved heading out of the apprentice's den. Ploping himself down in the clans camp as he flicked his tail, he was a handsome tom. His dark fur shone in the sun as he smirked puffing out his chest. You could say he was a she cats tom, although he never really met a she cat he would want to spend his life with. Shaking his head as he smirked yet again before grooming his chest fur.

Aspenthorn blinked slowly looking at the bird. "One of our queens is going to kit soon, that means more mouths to feed. Leafbear is approaching when we have to deal with cold and food storage, saving every small bit of kill we can get. We have many apprentices, but few are ready to be made into warriors. Warriors we need to defend our territory and feed our clan. Normally in leafbear it is cold, and herb supplies run low, it's not uncommon for sickness to take several of cats, even the strongest of warriors. That's not counting on foxes, badgers, floods, storms, fire or rouge attacks. Any of us could leave to join starclan for a number of reasons. And we do not get a break, it is like this every day."
He looked up at Willow his eyes cold. "You came on to our land that we need to protect, and take some of our precious prey. You are a kittypet, you do not have to worry about any of the things "wild cats" do, even the smallest kit of our clan knows about the struggles we go through. You wouldn't last a full moon." The tom watched her carefully, sitting down to see what she would do next. What he had said was harsh, but it was true. Currently they didn't have that many apprentices, or that many pairs of mates who could provide kits, if this cat could take down this bird, just maybe she could be taught the ways of the warrior.

I didn't even do anything wrong. She started it! His tail lashed from side to side as he waited for the leader to tell them a punishment and dismiss them. Bandit's ears were folded against his head. Cloudpaw pricked his ears, hearing the leader's call. He nodded when Bandit spoke, and watched the apprentice pad off. Cloudpaw felt positivity bubble up inside him as he stood up, a hopeful look in his eyes. His new friend was going to talk to him again, and Cloudpaw patiently waited in a shady spot under a tree that still had its leaves. The apprentice thought for a moment; did Bandit consider him his friend? He wasn't sure, and layed down, watching the clouds in the sky.

The she cat was taken aback by this, blinking softly as she looked at him softly her tail twitching. "You think you are the only ones who have had it hard. Just because im a kitty-pet does not mean i have life easy." She hissed her fur rising up as she pulled out her claws. She was ready to attack this tom, although she knew it was a bad idea. Her ears flicked as she calmed her fur down softly before looking at him with rage in her eyes. "My mother let me go, when i was only a little kit. I was ripped away form her and everything i knew" She said hissing as she lashed her tail. "I was trying to be nice, with giving you this bird, but i see now your just like everyone else" She said with anger as she spat her words out at the toms face. "You think your problems are so much more important then everyone else" She said with a hiss before narrowing her eyes.

The warrior nodded softly to her as he let out a soft smile. "Thank you acornfrost, i will collect you when i want to speak with chickadeeflight" He said softly curling his tail around his paws. For once in the toms life another cat was being kind to him, it was not like all cats where mean to him it was more he just ignored most cats due to his history as the runt of the litter most cats just saw him as a burden, well look at him now.. He smiled softly before shaking his head, "No.. Im fine" he said softly before nodding as he smiled at Acornfrost "So have you met a tom yet?" He asked softly he wanted to know not that he liked her or anything he was just interested in getting to know one of the cats who was kind to him.

Aspenthorn blinked apathetically. "My parents died in a battle when I was a kit. In the clan death or separation is not uncommon. I understand what you had gone through must have been painful, and you have every right to feel that pain. But there is worse, much, much worse suffering around you.
He blinked again and broke into a wide grin purring deeply. "I do not think my problems are more important. I almost died saving the cat I loved. Just as any clan cat would, you said you wanted to find the clan cats. I wanted you to know the truth. If you want to join us, it would be very different from the cushy life you are used to." He looked down at the bird nodding. "But you are a very skilled hunter, and have a lot of fight in you, you will not be bullied into submission, or pity. These are traits of a good warrior." He stopped looking at her coolly, narrowing his eyes. "But. You would need to work on your empathy, as a warrior you must be ready to give your life for every cat. Warrior, leader, medicine cat, apprentice, elder and kit. You must have empathy, they are important, they come before you do. And together we all support each other. No matter what we face." His soft paw flicked slightly, looking Willow over. "So. Would you like to join the wild cats."
