Swanfoot growled, "Well, I'm going after them! Come if you want." The white cat raced out of camp, a fury in her eyes. She caught on to a scent trail and began to follow it, running faster. The scent was getting stronger, but suddenly it dropped. "Kits?!" Swanfoot yowled, suddenly realizing that she had made a mistake.

Swanfoot stood up, yawning. She had spent the night with Lionlight's corpse. The white cat took one last look at her dead friend and took a deep breath. Swanfoot turned away, not able to look at him any longer. She pricked her ears when BoneClan was yowled. Her blue eyes widened as she rushed over to Riverleaf and Silvertail. "What's happened? Where's BoneClan gone?" Swanfoot asked, a new flame in her eyes. This flame was young, just beginning, but any cat could tell that it would grow to be a raging fire that could destroy anything. The shyness had left Swanfoot, and she was going to become someone stronger.
