Uh- -holds up finger- ... I... Maybe? I mean within one story, no. I try to make them all completely different. However, I usually have constants from story to story. Like the downright cruel character with a troubled past. Though I also quite enjoy the ridiculously snarky and quick-witted characters, but I actually only have about two of those overall -shrug-
So yeah :D

We've discussed the poll topic in the past, and I think the general conclusion was that we should feature the less known stories, not the really popular ones like Swindle and that sort of thing.

this is 68% what i meant when i typed out my reasoning earlier

okay, i have honestly tried to keep quiet because i don't want to start a fight in this lovely community. however, i feel that this is a very unfair way of going about this.
yes, i believe that less known stories do get smothered by more popular ones.
but how do we decide which stories we should leave out? by how many comments they have? or should we just leave out "popular" users all together?
i don't believe that that anyone should be left out just because their stories are more well-known. so, to avoid leaving out certain people and to avoid crowding out less-known stories & authors, i think we should just put everyone (who's participating) names in a random picker generator and ... yeah. we can work out the details. c:

maybe we can do both
Like have what blíss suggested, but we can also have a small place for "The Unknown Story of the Week" Or something for those stories which have like 5 followers or less. That way unpopular stories and popular stories both get attention. :3

I completely agree with bliss,
there's not a certain way to determine which ones are popular.

What I've noticed on these writing forums is that people stick to certain people's stories.
There's lots of little "groups" who stick with each other's stories, making some stories more popular looking to others, but that doesn't mean that they aren't looking for more people to view them.

I haven't said much about the topic either this time around, but I do think that a random generator would work best. We could assign everyone a number, and use a number generator to find one. If they don't want their story to be shown, they don't have to enter, you know?
