Duskpaw was happy that his plan worked and moved off his mentor so she could stand. He shook his head to get the snow off and sighed. "Well, now Dawnpaw is going to have a fit then she sees my head. She hates anything messy."

The deputy stretched out her paws, she was in the middle of the warriors den, where she slept, and was yawning as she slowly woke up. Her eyes blinked as she stretched out her paws giving herself a few good licks. She need to organize a dawn patrol, the warriors den was located inside of a cave to keep them warm, although she twitched her tail before turning to wake up a few other cats to see if they wanted to come with her on the patrol. Low light was flooding into the den as she let out another yawn, the sun was not high yet and the sky was still forming from its darkness to a light ray of blue, it gave off a yellowish pink glow as she flicked her tail before giving her paws a shake from the snow that had seeped into the cave.

The brute had moved his paws as the his white fur pushed trough the snow before he was sighing. No prey was out this early and he was getting colder although he was quite happy to be away from camp, there where a lot of cats running around camp and that was the last place he wanted to be.. Flicking his tail as he pushed himself closer to the snowy ground, it was winter, although it was slowly turning spring and a few flowers peaked out of the low snow. He smiled as a rabbit bounced around, he smirked as he wiggled his rump before he pounced on the animal giving it a quick bite to the back of the neck and killing it swiftly.

Nightpaw lashed his tail, "Well i would be much harder on you" He said with a flick of his ears. His eyes lowered on this kits swinging body. "Come on, it will not be that bad, spiritstar is a nice leader" He said softly speaking about his leader gave him a little glow of pride. Smirking as he turned heading for the leaders den, "Spiritstar?" He called out trough the kits fur his voice was muffled quite a lot but the message got past.

Frostpaw's ears flicked as she nodded, 'you ca do this frostpaw' she told herself as she picked up her paws and jumped gripping onto the bark of the tree. Curling her claws around the bark before pulling herself up as she climbed the tree, swishing her tail to the sides as she begin pulling herself up to the branch her mentor was on. She liked being up high, it made her feel like a bird, although she did not have wings. Turning to her mentor as she smiled, "What now?" She asked her voice happy.

His ears pricked. The leader shuffled his way out of the den, spotting the two young cats close outside. "Nightpa-" His voice cut off as he walked closer. "Is there something wrong with Featherkit? His expression turned worried upon seeing the kit being carried by the scruff.

"I wanted to inform you about this" he said shaking his head as he looked down twitching his tail in annoyance.

He smiled lightly and sat down. "That was extremely mature of you, Nightpaw." His eyes met with the apprentice. "Would you say that the Apprentice's den deserves a bit of shaping up?" The male's tail swayed in content as he remembered the age of the other cats. "I wonder who will become a new warrior this moon." Standing up, he motioned with his tail for the small kit to follow him, leading towards the -Paws den.

She padded slowly and quietly into the clearing as to not disturb the training apprentice and warrior. Smiling as she sat down, she gazed upward at the two cats high in the tree. Gee, I remember when I was just learning about bird hunting. The warrior thought.

the large tom looked at his apprentice "you did well... now how do you get down?" he smiled
and leaped down to a lower branch to a lower branch before he was low enough to leap to the meadow floor
"you can try my way or show me how you would get down" he mewled loudly to the slick furred she-cat. '' any way down is usually easier than going up..."

She chuckled lightly. "I'd have to second that." The warrior said, looking at the Tom, then back up to Frostpaw. "Seems like she's learning quickly." Her eyes darted about the tree, looking at all the stable branches that would hold almost any cat willing to hunt.

"I've heard that the next round of warriors are about to be chosen. I wonder who will be named as one this time around? Of course, there's always more to learn, even for leaders." She commented before cleansing a scratch on her front leg awkwardly.
