She finished the important conversation about Ivystar's and Waspfeather's death with Sandclaw and padded away. Swiftstar gasped at the sight of Dovekit's limp body in the center of camp and ran over to Willow in shock. "W-what happened to D-Dovekit?" she stammered, still in deep shock. Sandclaw and Hollytail would probably be absolutely devestated.

Amberkit padded into camp, tired from running around in the forest. She padded around until she found a spot where the ground was soft enough to rest. She found a spot and lied down, closing her eyes.

Le Amberkit trotted over to Owlkit. "Hi!" She exclaimed, her ears perked.

The kit smiled at Amberkit. He padded out of the nursery and gasped as he noticed for the first time that Dovekit was dead and that her body was lying in the center of camp. He sat outside of the nursery in shock. "Amberkit... did you know about this?" he asked her sadly.

She turned her head as she spoke, "Know about wha... Oh, my...! Don't tell me I haven't noticed that the whole time..." She mumbled, lowering her head.
"How in Starclan was I so blind to a dead kit lying in the center of the camp? I'm such an idiot..." She accidentally whispered out loud.

He felt depressed enough with his father dead, so he quickly changed the topic. "So... how old are you Amberkit? I bet you can't wait to be an apprentice." he forced a smile upon his face, even though it wasn't a true one.
