we're taking about using font veer for our charrie
forms. that's nonprofit. now, if someone was using
veer to make signatures and actually charge people
(items, pets) for them, then it would be a completely
different, touchy subject.
we are not using any of these images for commercial
use, therefore, we've done nothing wrong.
i'm basically backing ari up, whoops. :p

also, stating things like 'let me break it down for
you' simply sounds as if you believe we're a bunch of
apes that don't get it.

if you care so much about this, i'd recommend
you act less childish about it instead of just 'adios
my homies'.

whoa, what even brought this discussion to light?
nobody has ever gotten in trouble for using veer
images before and even then we're using samples
which is completely legal. it's like taking one of
those samples in the food court at the mall...

any of you ever done that? there will sometimes
just be people with trays of food that they'll let
you sample and if you like it enough you can buy
it. of course i'm the one comparing this to food
but i mean that's what it is...

i also wanna point out, if it were "illegal" to use
these veer images, wouldn't it also be illegal to
use our faceclaims without permission as well??
i mean that's what seems to be implied. they're
other peoples images... not ours, BUT they are
posted on the internet and that's not a problem
so why should this be? i'll stop now ;u;

omg i use lee taemin wayyy too much, i used to use julian casablancas a lot
too and also evan peters bc cutie pie. i always tell myself i'm gonna use like
a member from pierce the veil or something but then i never do ;v;

cs is already extremely strict about it's art rules, so i'm going to assume that if it's a problem they would have covered it a year ago when veer first surfaced.
but from what i understand, it's fine as long as there is no profit.
and to stay on the safe side, those with sig shops could just use different fonts?

opinions are great and now i'm more educated
and now i'll be more aware of how sample fonts are to be used and alternatives if i ever go into graphic design
but getting defensive and rude is not needed here
this a a friendly, uplifting environment and i'd like to keep it that way!

them out always looks very disapproving
