It took Sundast a moment to process that someone was talking to her and a few more to process *who* was talking to her and what they just said. "A job that was most definitely stupid to do alone. Took nearly everything I had. But..hey the job is done, it was successful, and I'm about 300,000 jewel richer. Why do you ask?" Sundast never knew anyone in the guild to really be interested in jobs that had been *completed* so she was curious as to what inspired this inquiry.

"Well too bad," Sliske hissed in response, his tone less than welcoming. "It won't go away, not for a few days. Now beat it." Was it the nicest thing to say in the moment? Absolutely not, and even though the godslayer knew he was pushing it, he refused to back down. He certainly didn't /need/ nor ever /want/ Roslyn's help. Turning away, the lavender-eyed mage continued to groan about his problems by himself.

Bruce took a deep breath to prepare himself for what he was about to say. "We're asking cause you look really tired," Bruce stated "in fact I was thinking that you, Adara and I could team up and take a job." He paused to look at Adara. "But if you're too tired we understand."

It was weird the way Bruce seemed to know what was going on in her head. It's true they had known each other for a while and worked a couple of jobs together, but she wouldn't say that they were super close or anything. In a normal situation, a person who seemed capable of reading minds had an intrusive feeling behind it, but on the battlefield it can come in handy for working together effectively and not getting in each others' ways. "Well you came back with lots of money, so I'd say you have a right to relax if you're exhausted!" There wasn't a lot the shadow wizard could say at the moment. Her mind was busy racing with ideas of what kind of job must have been that hard for someone as strong as Sundast. She waited for her guild-mate to answer instead of coming with something to say. Normally, when she tried that things came out wrong and she felt stupid or got into some kind of argument.

Sundast was a little surprised when Bruce invited her to take on a job with him and Adara. Since Sundast was so new to the guild, people either didn't know what kind of magic she used or didn't know how strong she was so she didn't get many invites for jobs. The first weeks she had held off on doing jobs in case people wanted her to go with them but when no one asked she started taking jobs on her own. Usually she took the smaller jobs since it would just be herself but the most recent job she took was far from her usual choice. She had seen the posting up for a good week and it was mostly ignored so Sundast decided to take it on herself. Not the smartest of choices. She wondered if taking on extremely tough jobs alone and nearly getting killed was the only way people around here would acknowledge strength and usefulness. 'No, maybe some of the other members but not these two. They're just being nice, good guildmates. Yeah, that's it.' "I am pretty beat from my last job...but I'll get bored and rusty if I just sit around. What kind of job were you thinking of?" Sundast mentally facepalmed. 'What in Fiore am I thinking? I just came back from death's door and now I'm knocking on it again?'

Bruce was relieved that Sundast accepted his offer. "Well I haven't looked at the board recently. There might be something that we can do." Bruce's dogs (and Bruce) have some of the best noses in all of Fiore, a tracking job would be right up his alley. He was raised by wolves after all. "Neither of us are S-Rank mages so no jobs we take will be too hard." Bruce said in an effort to reassure Sundast about her decision.

With a short click of his tongue, he shakes his head and sighs. "You're almost as bad as me. Always out on a job now eh? How about relaxing for a while with the guild?" He suggests, raising his eyebrows and giving her a quizzical expression. He too was thinking about taking yet another job within the next day or two so he wasn't much better. Though it didn't hurt to tease someone else about it either

Letting out a soft giggle as Blaize went back for his shirt, she turns her attention back to her friend as she spoke. "We'll take the paper for it and shout at Master Akira while we leave, if she doesn't hear someone else is bound to anyway." She says with a grin, stepping back over to the board and tearing off the job they chose, turning and giving Salem a thumbs up. "You guys ready?" She asks, looking between the two

"Alright. Count me in then. Let's go have a look at that job board," Sundast said as she stood up. She was still tired as hell but couldn't bring herself to turn down her guild mates, especially because they were the first to invite her to do anything guild related. She wasn't going pass this opportunity up. She knew she would probably regret it later but she told that part of her mind to take a hike. "So what looks appealing?" She asked now standing near the board. "You got kidnappings, stolen items, monster plagues, body guards...you name it."

"Hmm," Bruce pondered while looking at the job board "The kidnapping job in Balsam Village sounds good." Bruce said "Oh! But if you don't want to do that one we don't have to!" Bruce corrected himself. "Oh this one we could do. It's babysitting some children. That wouldn't be hard at all." Bruce grinned

"No, no, the kidnapping one is good. I prefer the more urgent ones anyways. I don't like doing jobs just for some quick jewel, I feel like it defeats the purpose of this guild. You know what I mean? Does that make any sense?" Sundast asks nervously. She was never really one to open up about her personal morals and beliefs but for some reason she felt comfortable enough with these two to just let some of it slip.
