The black and white tom hissed and pulled himself to shore, enraged. ''Why'd you do that!'' He shook the water out of his pelt and scented the air. Bandit picked up the she-cat's scent and followed her to her hiding spot in the tree. He climbed up the tree quietly and looked down to see if the she-cat was going to come out.
