It was dark outside when I started my nightly walk.
I looked at the creature by my side, who's name was Kyubey.
I had been with Kyubey for a week now.
The creature kept by my side the whole time, asking me what wish I would make to start it all.
I had known what wish I wanted for years now, just begging to blurt out of my mouth to the creature.
Of course, I was going to make the wish... but I just wanted to wait a while at first.
This would be my chance for change.
It was time.
''Kyubey.. I-I'm ready for my wish to happen!''
The creature looked into my eyes and I wanted to shudder.
They were so cold.
''Ahh~, what is the wish that will make your soul gem shine, Kasumi?'' The being had asked.
At that moment time seemed to stop. The words slipped out of my mouth.
It wasn't the wish I wanted to make, I had messed up.
Regret had filled me.
A glow was all I saw against the night sky.
''Kyubey, why is it you grant a young human being their desires!?''
That was the only thing I blunted out of my mouth after my wish.
My soul was being ripped out of my body, but I would not learn that
information in till my downfall.

Etoile's greatest wish is to be able to identify all of the constellations in the sky.


Etolie really wants to be able to point out all of the constellations herself because when she came to life, she had the misfortune of being a little bit near-sighted. This prevented her from being able to see all of the stars. She would try really hard to memorize them all but whenever she would go outside at night, she would miss many of the stars because they were too tiny for her to see, even if she did squint. Etoile tried to mentally picture the many constellations in the sky as she had seen in many astronomy books but in her eyes she could only see little bits and pieces of the pictures that lay hidden across the sky. She hopes to be able to overcome this obstacle one day and be able to just walk out one night and see the entire picture for herself.

What is their greatest wish? Odette's greatest wish is to be able to not worry about what other people think about her.
One extra! Ever since Odette was made, she found that she was uncomfortable with the way that other dolls looked at her. Whether it be looks of confusion, looks of compassion, whatever. She just didn't like anyone looking at her, period. She felt like for whatever the reason people looked at her, it was a bad look. 'Do I look funny? Did I say something wrong? Did I do something weird?' Gradually she started to build up a barrier that kept her from others, talking to Azure to keep herself from getting lonely (because Azure doesn't really have eyes, in a sense.), and made up a character for herself to be; a invincible, beautiful, magical girl. She hopes that, maybe, one day, she can break down her barrier and not care how others look at her.
