Cloudpaw shyly padded into the clan clearing, looking around quietly. He made his way to the fresh kill pile, taking a small bird and bringing it over to a corner in the clan clearing. The young apprentice bit into his meal, avoiding eye contact.

She couldn't help but smile a little. "It does. It works out well since leaf-bare is my favorite time of year."
