------She has a lot of goodwill in her heart. She truly believes that she can help the world by being a leader. Though, this means that Dominika is condescending in the way that she gives advice. Since she came from that testing facility, she'd learned a lot of things that your average purgonine wouldn't know.
------Sadly, she didn't learn a lot about social skills there, because everyone was much older than her and didn't talk to her much. They just talked about her where she couldn't hear. This is where her nosiness stems from. It makes her more secure knowing.

------She loves it. Dominika believes that this means she will wind up becoming well revered once she reaches the city. She wants to use this to become a powerful figure for people to look to for help. Leadership is valuable to her, because she can share her ideas with everyone and help purgonine society.

------Shortly after they explained some vague things to her when curiosity began eating at her. Did being the Purgonine of the Future mean she could leave? Dominika had to ask about this.
------She'd cornered the custodian. He seemed to be the type that was nosy and eavesdropped on conversations. Important conversations, maybe?
------"They don't know if they'll ever let you leave... Between you and me, you might not actually be the PoF. You might not be gwhat they want." When he had seen her crestfallen face, he said, "If you don't end up being the actual PoF, they won't make you do dangerous things. Even if you've been trained for that sort of thing, you could die."
------"I don't care! If I have something the rest of this world doesn't have, I want to help them!" Dominika wailed. She stormed away in fury. She wasn't going to let some unborn purgonine take her place, destiny intended for her to be the PoF.


------"What're you doing?!"
------"I'm sorry," she said, slapping duct tape over his mouth and binding him with rope, "but I have to go." Dominika dragged him away from the facility and left him.
------Horrified, he watched it burn.

Calamity is a once kind Purgo gone bad, many say. Though this may seem true, it is most certainly not. Yes, she is snappy, irritable, and vengeful, but that is only because of everything that's happened to her. However, underneath that hateful shell is a kind, generous heart. Calamity will not hesitate to help the needy, as she doesn't wish for another Purgo to go through as much as she did. She wishes to take revenge on those who changed her, as she feels that is the only way she will find peace, and to be able to live happily.

How does she feel about being "the Purgonine of the Future?":
"How do I feel about this? I despise it! I don't care if I'm "better than the rest" now that I've been changed; all I am now is just a product of genetic engineering and plain torture. Is that really a life to live? Of course not! I'd hate for another Purgo to have to endure the pain I went through to reach the "glory" I'm at now. I never wanted to be changed, yet they made me the one who had to be. They amputated and replaced one of my legs for no reason, so who knows what else those scientists would've done had I not escaped! Speaking of which, I only did because some idiot set off some type of bomb and knocked a few walls down... Now, almost where ever I go, I'm seen as a monster... The Purgo of perfection? More like the Purgo of nightmares..."

As you can obviously see, Calamity hates being the Purgonine of the Future for many, many reasons. First of all, she was captured and experimented on. There was no way she would voluntarily take part in experiments as painful as the ones she went through. Secondly, the scientists were wrong when they said she would be respected like a goddess. Almost everyone who sees her runs away in fear, from the shyest of young ones to the toughest of thieves. Thirdly, she now has to deal with the mutations she was given. It's not always fun to hear as well as her, and getting huge eyelashes stuck in your eyes is not the most pleasant feeling. Her tail is also a lot heavier than it used to be, so it's hard for her to stay balanced. However, the one thing she hates most about what was done to her, is her robotic leg. You'd think she'd be happy for such a gift, but that's entirely false. Sure, it makes her jump higher, but that only affects one side of her, making her off balance. As a result, Calamity can no longer jump normally. Personally, she thinks other Purgos would hate to be like she is, and she may be right. Well, unless they were born with all her mutations minus the robotic leg, of course, because in that case they'd be used to it. However, unless there were more like them, they'd seem just as horrifyingly strange as Calamity to others around them.

It's been three days since I escaped that dreaded place, and strange enough, I've already found shelter. What's even better yet, though, is that I now have an ally. By ally, I mean one who won't sell me out to the scientists if they come looking. Anyway, her name's Cotton Candy. I ran into her while exploring an old amusement park, that she just happened to call home. How'd I know I could trust her? After I stopped acting hostile, she stopped acting scared. Well, that, and she had no way of ever hearing about my escape from the lab...
