First Touch-
I unloaded Majix into his stall next to Persephone. He seemed to be flirting with her. I decided that it might be nice to give him a day or two to settle in. So, I changed out their food and water buckets for the evening and went on to do my other barn chores. I came back to see that he was calming down a lot."Good night Seph. See you tomorrow Majix"
I came back next morning to see Majix settled in. "Ok boy, let's get you out to the pin," I said. I put on his halter and tried to lead him outside to the round pin, but he refused and tugged at the lead rope. "Oh okay, so you want me to bring Persephone to keep you company?" I put on her halter and lead them both out of the barn and into the pin. I tied Seph to the outside post and lead Majix in. I tried lounging him to get out all of his nerves out of him. Eventually, he settled down and came to the center next to me. I tried to pet him, but he just trotted away. "Alright boy, I guess that's good enough for the day. Here, you want a treat?" Majix walked a step toward me and took the treat.
When Majix and Persephone were back in their stalls, I changed out their food and water once more. When I came back to Majix's stall, he nudged at my shoulder. I turned around and pet his cheek. "Good boy, that's all for today. I'm proud of you."

First Saddle-
I have been working with Majix for weeks now on trying to get him to let me work with him alone instead of with Persephone. He still doesn't like to be alone, so I put the saddle on Seph and tried on Mjix. It didn't work. So, I was working on the bridle. He allowed me to put it on. I tried the saddle again, but he didn't really like the thought of it on him. "Come on boy, Seph has it on, everything will be okay. You see? I just need to put this on your back and strap up the girth. Everything will be alright." So, I tried with the saddle pad, but he didn't like anything on his back. I called Persephone into the ring and put her next to the gelding. I took off her saddle and turned Majix toward her to watch me put the saddle back on her. "Okay boy, now it's your turn."
I went back to the post to tie up Seph and grab Majix's saddle pad and saddle. I walked back to the round pin with the saddle and a treat. I put on the saddle pad and he was doing good. I pet his neck and told him, "Good boy." I let him sniff the saddle for a minute and put it on his back. "Good boy Majix! I am so proud of you boy." I strapped up the girth and gave him the treat. "Good boy Majix. I love you so much."
