- >> Blaze let out a small laugh at the brute bounded across the stream, now out of the pack's land. A grin was on her face, now entertained by the loner. "Yeah I'm a pack wolf, I'm not going to attack you. But I bite," she winked. Her eyes scanned the waters, looking for Kanti. She furrowed her brow as she was unable to find her friend. Suddenly her scent was near and then she was being tackled. A laugh escaped her muzzle as toppled down. Opening her eyes she saw her friend on top of her. With a playful grunt, she shoved Kanti off of her and stood once more. Her shoulder throbbed as it began to bleed again, not too terribly but a little. "Gosh you klutz, long time no see," she smiled and pawed at the fears flank. Her tone was a little softer, until the brute came over and began firing questions. They were not pups, why was he calling them pups? She furrowed her brow at him. "Old friends, haven't seen one another in a while. Kinda having a reunion here," the red wolf shrugged, waving her tail at him.

A growl sounded and he licked his muzzle as the taste of her blood seeped into his throat. As she went limp, a large brute almost matching his own size came at him, but the beta overthrew the alpha as the flames took the mated pair. He stood tall, crimson dripping from his mouth in pleasure. As he beamed proudly over the deceased, a movement caught his golden gaze, snapping his attention to another pair of eyes.
Sunlight. The new alpha groaned at the dream, the eyes haunting his ever blinked of sleep. Only once had he seen those eyes before, but they were an exact replicate of Autumn's. It must be his guilty conscience. He stood, fur brushing against the dirt ceiling due to his size, and the small den. His ears perked at the sound one of the wolves outside of his den. Probably Ace begging for attention, like most mornings, he thought bitterly and strode outside. At the sight of the huntress bowed, he rolled his eyes and simply sat in the sun. "What do you want?" He asked, typically, though he already knew, looking out at the pack grounds. Usually he hated wolves, especially females, sitting on his ledge. But Ace was, different. She was more submissive to his every word. She actually listened. Therefore he didn't hide his favoritism, showing an example. Plus, he'd need a mate soon and he got the best pickings due to his rank. No, he didn't actually like her, he simply needed good genes to pass on to his future generation. The alpha was particularly alert today.
