Is this boy's pelt showing the sun rising or setting?

His pelt is a depiction of the sun setting. Much in likeness to his lifestyle; which is typified by a nocturnal attitude, and a general fascination for the world of night beyond the sunset hour, his pelt shows the sun going down beyond the cusp of the horizon in a display of orange and pink silk, stretching beams of light and color out as it makes way for the hours of darkness, beseeching the stars and fireflies to make their presence in the darkening world. Because his pelt shows the setting sun, he has a fascination and a deeper understanding and appreciation for the sensory beauty of the world after dark.
What about that dark splatter below his eyes?

The dark splatter just below his eyes is the mark of insomnia. He struggles daily/nightly to find sleep, and can rarely ever get more than two or three hours of precious rest. He doesn't seem to mind it too much, and claims that while other voxxies may be able to find sleep and get an appropriate amount of rest, he feels as though he lives a bit more, considering he's awake more than most voxxies are. While he does sleep when he's able, he often spends most night's outdoors, enjoying the cool night air, the songs of the night creatures, and the gentle whisper of the gentle breeze and buzz of the fireflies.

Personality:
His personality is reserved and quiet, but also warm and welcoming toward those he gives light and guidance too. He's known to be very winsome and clever, but takes quite a bit of pride in it, which can occasionally cause himself and others trouble and dispute. Most of the time, he's a caring friend toward anyone, and he will never turn down the company or problems of a friend. He often times goes way out of his way to make sure he doesn't upset people, which often makes him seem shy or nervous of others, but he's just a little insecure with himself sometimes. He has plenty of friends, but is very familiar with the feeling of experiencing loneliness in company.
MISCELLANEOUS:
He has an imaginary friend that he often talks to when he gets lonely. His friend is a starry ferret he calls Bentley.
His name carries the meaning 'set', much like the setting sun depicted in his pelt.
