Duchess then got a hold of herself and said never mind quickly.
She ran back up to a large rock sticking out of the ground and stood on the tip of it.
Duchess looked down and saw a handsome white Arabian with a black mane and tail.
She wondered if he was part of another herd.
Duchess then heard the familiar whinny from her mother.
She turned around to see her mother standing just a few feet away.
" Duchess, its time to form a new pack and you shall take my place as mare leader." Her mother said proudly in a gentle voice.
" But mother, why a new herd? We already have our family!" Duchess said angrily.
"Yes, but most of them have moved on east because of life here." Said duchess' mother.
"OK mother." Duchess said softly.
"Very well then." Said duchess' mother.
Duchess then faced out towards all the horses and let out a loud whinny then all horses payed attention to her.
"All Arabians please gather under this rock." Said Duchess with more pride than ever.
There were only seven Arabians besides her.
"I am the new River herd mare leader."
" Now all of you are part of River herd."
"Now you all may resume to what you all were doing." Duchess said shyly.

Tytan and Terren

Tytan flickered his ears at the mare's announcement, trotting up to the rock and nickering for her. "Forgive me, but don't you need a stallion to rule by your side?" The charming dark horse asked, ears pricked to attention. His brother, Terren, shouldered him out of the way, showing off his flashy coat. "I think you'll find that I am more than fit for the job my grace." He whinnied, struggling to stay in front of his brother and keep her eyes.

Zaire decided to wait and see if Majora would come over. He doubted it , but noone knew that he had a crush.

" Well i just started my herd and i would rather wait util i get to know everyone better, but, you both do look \
cute, just need time to get to know everyone before i find the stallion of my kind, sorry.
Duchess walked pass them and went over to lay under a large oak.

Legendary trotted around looking for some sweet grass. She soon spotted Duchess under a oak. She went to the long grass where the fine grass grew.

Majora trotted around the apple tree and nipped at the apples trying to get one down. She gave up and sighed. She walked over to Zaire.
"Hi." she said in a gentle-shy voice.

Duchess walked to the apple tree to try and get a apple.
Duchess stretched her graceful long arched neck to a shiny red apple and gently pulled it off the stem.
She lay down under the apple tree and took a bite out of the middle.
the apple was tender and juicy.
she then decided to rest.
She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Duchess woke up and saw the white horse with a black mane and tail she saw erlier.
She walked up to him and said "Hello!"
"How are you?" Duchess said while walking closer to him.

Zaire greeted," Hello, Majora." He flicked his jet black tail and asked," How are you,today ?"

Amiee snorts and drank in peace. she honestly,felt invisible,to the herd.

Duchess then saw a few feet behind Asher there was another herd wanting to graze in their spot.
Before Asher could say anything, Duchess ran over to the stallion leader and reared up, and kicked him in the jaw.
Duchess then called for her herd to come and fight the other herd.
The other herd had a lot more horses, but Duchess knew River herd would win.
Just then, the stallion reared up and kicked her in the flank as hard as he could.
Duchess nickered with pain as pain rushed through her flank, but that did not stop her.
She started running as fast as she could, and a few minuted later the stallion slowed down restlessly.
Duchess then decided to help her herd with the rest of the horses.

Zaire reared and stood in front of Majora . He started kicking and biting the other horses that surrounding him. Zaire bared his teeth and kicked a stallion that bit his neck.

Amiee ran as fast as she could to get away from a draft stallion that was trying to snake heraway from the herd.
