Clannad After Story
It's the second season so I defiantly reccomend that you watch the first season before going onto after story
It essentially follows the love of two high-schoolers, a boy named Tomoya and a girl named Nagisa.
The show literally follows them until they become adults and beyond.
Kono Danshi OVAs
So I'm either a wimp or these made me cry(at certain moment)
Someone please back me up here
Go to my shounen ai reccomendation post for info,
I'm too lazy to type it up again
If you don't like shounen ai,
I would only reccomend watching the first OVA
Angel Beats
I haven't seen the show myself(but I plan on watching it) but my girlfriend always tells me that's it's REALLY sad and made her cry. I also see it on practically every 'top ten saddest anime' list I look up.
Zankyou no Terror/Terror in Reasonance
Just watch the show all the way through
I'd reccomend this for ANYONE, WATCH IT.
It's not very sad until you reach near the end
It essentially follows the lives of two teenage(yes, teenage) terrorists that named themselves "Sphinx"
Each day, the two boys release a video to the police giving them a riddle that the police have to solve in order to find the bomb before it goes off. But the terrorists think through almost everything in order to make sure no one was seriously injured or killed.
Beyond the Boundary
Again, my girlfriend said it made her cry and said she'd reccomend it to everyone who likes action-angst-romance-supernatural anime. I myself have only seen the first few episodes and love it already. It is about a boy that is half Demon(or yomou, as they put it in the show) and thus cannot die, even if fatally wounded. A girl who's job happens to be to kill these demons, takes advantage of that fact and likes to use him for target practice since she doesn't enjoy killing, and knows that he cannot die. I haven't gotten to the major "Plot Twist" and where the show really takes start yet, so you'll have to find that out on your own
Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi/Sunday Without God
I'm on the second to last episode of this series, and it's amazing
It literally makes you cry on the third episode of the series
It follows the story of how on Sunday, fifteen years ago(show-wise), God turned his back on the world. Thus, no one could die (nor be born, I might add)and everyone who was shot would go into a "zombie-like" state. The zombies-ish state consisted of their own bodies beginning to rot, but they still kept a piece of mind. The only way a person can truely die and pass on is when a person known as a gravekeeper buries them, thus our story revolves around twelve year-old Ai, a gravekeeper who had to bury her own mother(who was also a gravekeeper) in order to have her pass on correctly. Some time after this all happens though, Ai comes into the town to be confronted with someone who massacres the townspeople, and also claims the same name as her supposed "missing father".
Excuse me for any spelling errors(meaning random words that look weird there) or grammatical issues,
I just woke up
These are only my own reccomendation,
if you don't cry as easily as me then I don't think I can help as much
I HOPE THIS HELPED
