★___alyxander paul indigo ✴ god: apollo ✴ tagged: dessa, nova ✴
"where the.." apollo's words left his mouth before his brain could begin to function, and he took a look around. where am i? his gaze fell onto a pretty brunette, and apollo opened his mouth to speak, but then a rush of anger jolted him, and well as realization. his eyes widened and he smacked himself clear in the head. stupid, stupid, stupid! he remembered zeus's words to he and his sister before they were sent down here to find.. their.. 'companion'. "too distracted.." apollo mumbled, remembering why he was punished in the first place. sighing, apollo looked around. he somehow knew which gods were which, and then remembered not to call them by their names. so.. what would he call them? apollo sat there for even longer, thinking of a name. a...al..alyxander..? paul? shaking it off, apollo looked around once more. everyone was here, and he let out a long breath seeing that artemis was present as well. thank the skies, he thought.
xxxxonce again, alyxander rested his gaze on venus, who was now running towards, ugh, anubis. rolling his eyes, alyx chased after her, and nearly fell on top of the pair. catching his breath, alyx felt the back of his head, rubbing it. "venus," he said, outstretching a hand. "are you alright? d-did you fall.." he bit his lip. don't say it, do NOT say it.. "from heaven?" smirking, alyx pulled her up, trying not to glare at anubis for no reason at all.

Am average day at school was th emost boring thing Sisi had to sit through ever, it was the same
routine everyday and Sisi needed something new to keep her entertained. She sighed while she used
her fork to much her lunch around on her plate. It was a simple salad for her today, mostly because
she was out of any other food in her house currently. She needed to go out and buy some more stuff
when she had the chance. Her friends were chatting around her about whatever it is they talked
about when she wasn't listening to a word they were saying. She set her fork down and tried to at
least pay attention to them and engage in conversation, but they weren't talking about anything that
interested her, just some project they were partnered for in biology. The guys were having a contest
of who could eat faster, they did that a lot. They were so weird. She chuckled to herself and then
ate some of the lettuce and wrinkled her nose realizing that she didn't put any dressing on it. Plain
salad was disgusting. She pour some rnach on it and went back to eat it, popping a piece of carrot in
her mouth as she did so. That was much better. She ate quietly, which was pretty uncharacteristic of
her, but she felt a little off today and she couldn't put her finger on why.
She was soon to discover why she felt this way when some random people showed up from out of
nowhere. She blinked in confusion. Were they aliens or something? She looked towards her friends,
but none of them seemed to notice anything. She frowned and looked back towards the people her
head tilting. Was she the only one who saw that? Was she the only one seeing them now? No that
was impossible. She saw one of them trip and fall right into another one and she nearly laughed at
the sight of that. She stood up from the table announcing to her friends that she would talk to them
later. Something was telling her to go over to them, and she wasn't sure what or why, but she was
watching the new people as she headed towards them. Her pace was slow, disinterested even though
she was very curious about them. A brow lifted as she watched them and stopped just a little bit off
from them leaning against a light post as she looked at them. Her head tilted to the side, but she
didn't attempt to go closer. She just watched from a short distance away.

xxxA I S H A♠♠B E A U L I E Uxl gender: female | age: nineteen | persona: bastet/goddess
xxx⇉ᴛ ʜ ᴇ♠♠ᴇ ʏ ᴇ♠♠ᴏ ғ♠♠ʀ ᴀ⇇♠♠♠♠companion: griffin | tagged: anubis, venus, other deities | location: earth, somewhere outside
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠Bastet was a goddess of many things. A former goddess of warfare, a solar deity and protector of Ra, a warder of sickness, a protector of the humans who lived in the mortal realm, and by far most importantly the divine supreme of the common mortal feline. For being such an important deity, she couldn't remember the last time she had been this absolutely offended. Ra wanted to send her to Earth? Had he and the other gods finally gone mad? I have no time for the dealings of humans! Surely he can't be serious. Anubis and I have much more significant tasks to attend to, she thought, clenching her fists tightly at her side in an attempt to maintain composure as the sun god explained to she and her friend the reason why they were being banished. Exiled. As if they belonged down there with the mortals, not worth more than they were. She simply couldn't believe that she had a mythical companion, someone who she was going to be forced to bond with, that had been sent to Earth as a child without her knowing. It was complete blasphemy, all of it. Bast had been observing the lives of mortals for thousands of years through the eyes of the cats they kept as pets, and their lives were short, trivial, and almost always meaningless, spent chasing one desire to the next until they wasted away. What she wanted to do was shout, to demand to know why she hadn't been told to prepare for this in advance, but as the booming voice of Ra threatened Anubis with permanent exile after his brave attempt at changing their sentence, she knew it was hopeless. It brought a small smirk to her face as she heard her best friend (he could deny it all he liked, but Bast was practically the only one who willingly spent time with him and enjoyed his company) imitate the threat under his breath. "It won't take that long for us to finish up. Mortal time passes quickly," she reminded him, keeping her voice steady but low as they prepared to be sent to a place she had never imagined she would be forced to spent her time.
♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠Immortal or not, Bast couldn't help but feel a bit disoriented at the sudden change of scenery, the shift between realms almost instant as she found herself a bit dazed and outside the exterior of a building she was unfamiliar with. She let out a displeased tut, restraining what would have probably come out as a violent hiss and a small string of curses had she and Anubis not arrived with their own entourage. At least Zeus and Jupiter aren't dishing out any special treatment. The expression goes "misery loves company," I believe, she thought bitterly as she collected her thoughts and tried to steady the slight wooziness that the teleport had brought upon her. Buying herself a bit of time, she carefully dusted off any imaginary imperfections in the new clothes she was wearing, meticulously brushing the backs of her fingers across the sleeves of a pine green cardigan and swiping quickly and elegantly to remove the microscopic bits of dust. She surveyed the rest of the gods and goddesses assembled in the meanwhile, being sure to stick close to her Egyptian companion as she silently evaluated those she could recognize. It seemed that her reclusive friend took notice of their Roman ensemble at the same time Bastet did, for she instinctively moved closer to him right as the man scrambled to conceal himself behind her. She had meant to say something comforting to him - she really had - but was interrupted as one of the very people Anubis had been trying to avoid barreled right into him, knocking her poor friend down like a sad lone bowling pin. "Careful there," she warned easily, arching an eyebrow carefully and placing a hand on her hip she looked down at the pair of deities sprawled across the ground with thinly veiled amusement. "I'm sure that the ground must be utterly filthy. And to think we just got here," she added, sighing a bit to herself to extenuate her exasperation. Before Bastet - or, she supposed, she would have to use a human name now, as per the rules of their stay on Earth - could say or do more, someone else offered Venus - at least she thought it was Venus - a hand up.
♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠ Aisha (it sounded nice enough, simple but graceful) couldn't help it; she scoffed. Disdainfully. Very disdainfully. Apollo's reputation certainly preceded him, but for someone who was supposedly a flirt, the pick up line was terribly cheesy. If she were the one being pulled up, she wouldn't have responded at all and instead gotten up by herself, but she supposed to each their own. Instead, she followed up by rolling her eyes quite dramatically and ignoring the rest of the encounter, returning her attention to Anubis and silently offering her hand to pull her fellow Egyptian back to his feet. She recalled her words earlier about how time would fly, but she couldn't help the feeling forming in the pit of her stomach that perhaps she had been wrong. They were mostly mortal here, after all, even if they had been allowed to keep their powers to some extent. Not that they could use them often, as it would be hard to find anywhere that wasn't crawling with people that would notice. Ah, yes. People, she reminded herself, drawing her gaze away from her little cluster of the divine and looking over her surroundings once more with a critical eye. She felt a connection or a sort of tug to someone here, that was undoubtedly true, and as unappealing as the idea of bonding with someone who was technically human seemed, it was what needed to be done if she wished to return home. As she watched the humans, however, Aisha noticed that there was also a human seemingly watching them. The cat deity narrowed her eyes for a split second, analyzing the girl's presence, but felt nothing towards her that would have increased the dull pull she felt to someone in the area. "If I could have all of your attention," she spoke pointedly to the group, glancing at them to ensure that their focus was indeed on her before continuing, "it appears that someone's pet has already strayed from the others and sought out who they supposedly truly belong to. I feel nothing close to any sort of immediate attachment to her, so I believe it can be assumed she belongs to one of you?" she inquired flippantly, inclining her head in the direction of the girl who was learned against a post, watching them all carefully. A small ache was beginning to throb in her head, and she would have time for pleasantries and niceties later. Her mood was foul at the moment and she didn't care for being polite towards a human of all things.

XANTHUS NEIL
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
[god] cupid [powers] emotion, pheromone, wind manip, archery [companion] dragon
[feeling] achy [location] some building [tagged] some peeps around him
Cupid had been excited to find this supposed "companion" character. He wasn't entirely sure what Zeus
meant by it. In fact, he wasn't even entirely sure what his future friend was going to look like. But how
could he disagree with Zeus? Or the fact he was going to have the ability to make a new friend. Cupid
just...well...he didn't really want to go to the human world to find him. While he didn't entirely mind
humans (at least not like most Gods and Goddesses did) he felt much safer in his Godly, Heavenly form.
But Zeus demanded that they go to earth. Something about "bonding" though Cupid had a feeling it was
also some weird way Zeus was dealing with his anger and revenge. Or something like that. He hated
humanity. And he hated Gods. So this could of just been some sick way to "get back" at whoever he was
mad at.
Unfortunately, Cupid didn't remember much else before he was waking up on the floor. Or something
that felt like floor. My name my name, he wracked his head for the human name he had picked for
himself before arriving to earth. Everything had happened so quickly his mind had started throbbing so
thinking seemed way too difficult right now. That's right I picked Xanthus. A Greek name. Xanthus Neil.
Xanthus took a deep breath. He could feel the mortality running through his veins. Gross. Feels kind of
weak. And weird. I have no idea how humans can get adjusted to this. Xanthus thought to himself as he
rubbed his forehead and sat up. He wasn't the only one in the room, either. He could sense who they
were. Anubis. Venus. Apollo. Bastet. Artemis.
He groaned, "Damn that fall hurt my head. I've never had a headache before. How the heck do I get
rid of it?" He said out-loud to no one in particular. He flinched at the voice of Bastet. He had no idea
what her human name was that she picked out. He just knew that she was another Goddess.
"So straightfoward," Xanthus said, stretching as he rose to his feet. "I feel nothing. And of all people,
I should be the first to understand a feeling. So what -- we wait here for the others to get magically
drawn to us? Or we go out and wander around until we find them?"

he's all sprawled out under a tree, his feet kicked out in a grass as he reads a book in the shade. Pff. Max, reading. He was reading though, at least kind of now that the group of older kids had spontaneously appeared and his eyes locked on them. He couldn't stop staring, and it only took him a second until he was on his feet, grabbing his sweatshirt and bookbag from the grass. His jaw flexed as he tilted his head a little to watch them. They were all stunning, seriously, stunning and it almost seemed they didn't really know what they were doing. He rubbed under his nose before he took a few steps forward then stopped, they didn't look very approachable, so he just kind of... stared.
He braved it then, walking up, pulling his jeans up by the belt. uh... hey, uh... are you guys lost? Cause... you look the part. he grinned at them, looking back at where he had previously lain under the tree. He flicked his greenish grey eyes up to the boy with dark hair and light eyes who was standing next to a dark haired girl. He scanned the goup over a few more times, kind of taken aback by all of their beauty.

griffin had been tugging on a hoodie, he could have sworn that no one was in front of him a few moments ago, but when his
head popped threw he had to stop walking. the boy had been inches away from running into a group of people. there was
another kid, one griffin knew but only slightly. his name was max, or something like that, he was actually speaking to
the mysterious people. walking around them, griffin found himself observing the group, and true to max's words, they
did in fact look lost. they looked as if they were models, except even more.. perfect. wondering over to max, griffin
stares at the group before looking at a girl in a green cardigan, his eyes stuck to her for a moment, until he blinked.
"okay, tell me you guys did't just appear out of thin air, i would really prefer that the three prettiest girls i have
ever seen not be aliens." the boy says, quiet loudly before winking at the girl closest to him. "no but seriously,
who are you guys?" griffin asks, a confused look coming back to his face.
(enjoy this short post, i'm ganna post for anubis in a moment)

june's nose was hidden beneath a canvas. as usual, she painted beneath a shady tree. her fingers swayed from side to side rhythmically, the paint brush's light strokes calming her. of course, she wouldn't need this calming if she hadn't seated herself on a tree close to max. she thrummed the fingers that weren't working on the soft, green grass below, and then stopped as her attention was divided. the working hand still dipped the brush in clean water, but her eyes were glued to max, who was now getting up. her gaze then drifted to match his, and she noticed the beauty that was a group of other teens. only, they weren't familiar. and they were quite gorgeous to be honest. confused like usual, june dropped her brush in the water and moved her painting aside, covering it up before pushing herself off of the patch of grass that was so comfortable. sighing as she did, she couldn't catch up to max before he spoke, but was in earshot of what he said. june couldn't help but agree- no matter how gorgeous they all were, they looked breathtakingly idiotic as well.
xxxjune didn't wait before she introduced herself, surely startling max. "you do," she noticed, before outstretching a hand. "i'm june. this is, uh, max," she said turning her head to him and quickly back again before the odd teens lost interest in her introduction, though it was no need- griffin, a boy she knew didn't like her, had begun speaking as well. sighing, june turned to max again. "max, who are they?" she whispered.

dessa took the offered hand up and rose to her feet, a startled look on her face, but suddenly, a sly smirk slid across her lips. apollo. Nice to see you again, still charming from the looks of it she turned to look at the humans who had walked up. they're ours, she whispers to apollo but how do we know whos is whos? her eyes flicked toward the group. Maybe she had missed the memo. She took it on herself to introduce herself first, I'm dessa, it's nice to meet you two, and that one. she pointed at the one who seemed to be asking if they were aliens and she tried not to laugh. Her eyes crinkled at the corner and the corner of her mouth twitched before she laughed outloud. aliens? Honey no. We're go- good normal people. she looked towards apollo and nudged him to say something.

___________________________( D E A Dxxx M A N xxx W A L K I N G )_________________________
the most terrifying moment of his life was when venus ran into him, knocking him over, though he couldn't help but glare
at bastet as she helps the goddess up but not him. "thanks aisha for the help up." he sneers, more grumpy that a love
goddess had touched him than anything. picking himself up off the ground, nova brushes the dirt off his red hoodie, before
flipping the hood up, letting it cast a shadow over his face. just looking at apollo hurt his eyes, and hearing his stupid
attempts at flirting made his ears want to bleed. he couldn't help but scoff when persephone tried to convince the
others that she didn't share the same personality as the annoying sun god. glancing at cupid cautiously as he asks how
they were suppose to find their companions, he opens his mouth deciding it was safe to speak. "ra told us that we
would be drawn towards our companions and they would be drawn to us, i can sense the mine is close by, but
i'm not sure that he is my companion he seems.. normal." anubis explains shaking a bit as he speaks to the god he
feared the most at the moment. slinking back behind bast, his focus was glued to cupid and venus, at least until he
heard someone speak to the group.
looking over, nova saw that it was his "companion" asking if they were lost, before it turned to a girl who started intro-
ducing herself and the other boy. as a third human walked over, asking if they were aliens, nova let out a groan. "this is
stupid, i don't want to be here." he snaps, his eyes narrowing on max. there was no sign of him being anything but
a human. not only was being on earth getting on his nerves, he had ghosts everywhere begging for his attention and
for his help and it was making his head spin. "i'm going to be sick. get away before i shove you into the body of a
chicken." he hisses between his teeth, glaring at the ground, before holding his head in his hands.
(ah the problems of turning human)
