Jellal continued to float on his back/ "They don't attack what smells like a friend." He answered simply, grinning lightly as his hair stuck to his face slightly.

her dogs ran into her home and into their back room, where they probably ate food and drank some water. laverna looked around the house, opening some of her chests and looking at the contents carefully stored inside. nothing seemed out of place. she furrowed her brow. what was amiss? she hated this feeling. maybe it was time she return to zachariah and realign with the guild. she decided since she was here she could have a quick bite. she heated up a quick soup using her preserved and salted meats and some vegetables. she sat at her table and ate carefully, looking around the house.

Burrows-In-Sand carefully flicked off the strand of hair sticking to Jellal's cheek, then quickly pulled her arm back. "How did you find this place?" she wondered, genuinely curious. He must've adventured around before making a house here in the mountains, where bandits and giants could attack anytime they wanted.
Perhaps he had guards stationed nearby to watch over his manor, but it was most likely the ice wolves that kept him safe, defending their master whenever necessary. She disliked admitting it, as under normal circumstances, she would most likely be slaughtering these creatures as part of one of her contracts. These ones. however, appeared to be friendly, if not a bit hesitant of coming even closer to her.

Jellal shrugged. "I found the cave first then built my house above it." He answered kindly, sinking down in the water, still watching the Glowing Mushrooms above them.

Burrows-In-Sand nodded, accepting the answer but not really all that satisfied with it. She wouldn't dare complain, though, because she didn't want to be a bother to the human man. "Ah, I see," she answered, before getting a grip on the overhanging length of rock above her, puling herself with grace out of the pond. Water slid like raindrops on a duck's back, quickly drying her off.
She gave the nearest Ice Wolf a quick pat on the head, then turned to Jellal. "I'm ready to go. What about you?" she asked, sliding on a clean pair of tavern clothes. She would polish her armor and weapons eventually, but for right now, all she wanted to do was rest.

Jellal nodded, pulling himself out of the water and grabbing a towel, putting it around his neck and walking to the exit, walking up the stairs and going to the lounge to sit on a rug in front of the fire with a soft smile.

Burrows-In-Sand followed. When they arrived back at Jellal's lounge, she said, "Would you mind showing me which room I will be staying in for the night? I'm dead tired and need a nap, if you happen to have any spare beds," she said, casting a glance up the steps, where she imagined her room would be situated.
Of course, though, she didn't know why she expected to have a bedroom already prepared for her. It wasn't like she would've known she would she would be staying in someone else's house for the night. This, after all, was clearly no breakfast in bed.

Jellal nodded happily. He jumped up, rushing upstairs and making sure she followed before walking into the spare bedroom.

Jriska stood infront of the girls house, taking a breath in as she began to search around it for a back door. Once finding this door the orc, who was a little more then mediocre at lockpicking, went through only three picks to crack the door, She simply slipped in and closed it, making a rather brave walk for her target, laverna. "Hello, honey~" She said, obviously not trying to sneak up behind her, but rather take her off guard.

Phydra smiled, setting a slim and calloused hand on her sisters shoulder. "You are a fair woman, Sorosi. I almost forget you are an assassin." She joked, eyes warm with amusement. "I'd like to say we'd stay for a drink or two if you don't mind the drunkards." She laughed, setting her hand back to her front with its partner.

the orc certainly caught the girl off guard. "hello, honey." she greeting, almost casually. the fair girl stood quickly. her chair fell back, and while her face fought hard not to show it, she was alarmed. she thought she'd heard something in the lock. the girl's sapphire blue eyes traveled up to the mercenary's.

"what are you doing in my house?!" she demanded, trying to make herself seem more powerful and much stronger than she actually was. she pulled her razor from its hilt, holding it firmly in one hand. her three dogs appeared in the room, hunched low and snarling, waiting for their master's command. "leave. now!" she pushed, her eyes narrowing.
