avery is... undefinable. ve doesn't like putting herself in a box, grouping virself with others, having to apply labels to virself, generally anything of those likes. in general, vir personality can change depending on who ve's with or the situation ve's in. most of the time ve's confident and optimistic. bunny really doesn't care about others opinions on vir, and is never afraid to speak vir mind, no matter if the subject is something like the backyardigans or something like equal rights. avery often gets into debates with others, but ve keeps virself civil when talking about anything. bunny, when not arguing, is very friendly and open to others. ve isn't the most helpful, however, and is probably the biggest klutz you could meet. for such a short/'tiny' person, ve really is firey. ve has quite a temper despite her cheerful attitude. usually ve tries to stay calm but inside ve gets angry at every little thing that could set vir off even a tiny bit. i guess avery has a lot of sides? but as long as you don't piss vir off ve'll undoubtedly be nice to you.

zitao myu - friend? or something - owned by me - reference
zitao and avery get along well. they're not like best friends, or the kind of friends who
would immediately call the other up if they're stricken with boredom, but if they run
into each other or happen to accidentally butt-dial the other, they'll probably make
plans, chat a bit, see what's going on in each other's lives. (generally, tao's is more
exciting.) they were in the same elementary school as kids before avery moved from
china to the usa. when they accidentally ran into each other at a party, they didn't
recognize each other immediately. now most of their talks and 'bonding' is over odd
old childhood memories. truthfully the two don't have much in common. really, you'd never expect their relationship to actually be anything resembling a friendship. i guess it's just the coincidence of previously knowing each other that makes them really get along.

bruce lawrence - acquaintance - owned by me - reference
bruce and avery have only met on a few occasions - mostly from tao dragging him along to parties and get-togethers and whatnot. avery can tell bruce isn't really the 'friend' type of person, that he's not really talkative and that social situations can make him kinda anxious. when bruce isn't around someone he can rely on to make him feel safe in a social situation, avery doesn't mind stepping in and kinda... 'being there' for him. i guess it's kinda cliche and cheesy but ve really doesn't know anyone - ve doesn't mind sitting back and chilling in the corner with the tall guy. it's not hard to contribute to a conversation for avery, and bruce doesn't really leave his small apartment, so they really don't ever 'talk' beyond these small meetings and all.
