The tuxedo tom stood up on his back legs and lifted his paws up to his chest. He tried to keep balance as he stared over some of the brush. He sat back down. ''I have one question. Do you like being in a clan?'' I've never thought of joining a group of cats before. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

Oakclaw nodded "oh ok I see" he said a little annoyed "You should really get out of camp more then what if something happened and you were chased by a fox? You wouldn't be aboe to out run it and it is not safe to fight one alone"

He stood up and a friendly smile flashed across his maw. ''I don't know. Maybe you can take me to Blazestar? I'm thinking about joining your clan.'' The tom looked towards the grey she-cat hesitantly. ''Will your clan accept outsiders?'' His white tail with black spots was twitching back and forth.

Chickadeeflight purred as she padded into camp with a bundle of herbs in her mouth. She had finally returned to her clan after she had gone to the Starcave for halfmoon. I hope that everyone is alright. She shook her pelt and some dirt flew off. The black and white she-cat looked around at the other cats in camp. She hoped for a greeting after she had been gone for a few days.

Chickadeeflight dipped her head and greeted the tom. She set down the bundle of herbs. ''Hello, Hawktalon! Has everyone been fine around here while I was gone?'' Her tail tip twitched as she waited to hear the answer. Chickadeeflight was anxious to make sure that everyone was okay.

The tom followed the she-cat and his eyes widened in surprise as she asked him how old he was. Does she think I'm a kit or something. ''I am 12 moons and a quarter. Why?'' He had to keep his black and white pelt from bristling in indignance as he followed after the she-cat.

The black and she-cat nodded eagerly. She was glad that all of the clan cats were alright. ''Has anything more about any prophecies been said?'' Chickadeeflight sat down and curled her tail around her paws. She looked longingly towards the prey pile as she spoke to the tom. Her hunting skills weren't the best and she hadn't been able to get much prey while she was traveling.
