Quickkkkk question... So obviously anapsids have to eat but on the refs we all have by vee it doesn't show their mouths. Do they have tongues too? I'm trying to find ways to draw mine without the same old expression. Idk I was just wondering <3

I am actually working on some visual refs right now!! I'll try and get them up in a little bit, I'll edit this post if I do. But you guys can also look over on the main thread! I've been busy filling it up with details about the species, and you can find a written description of their mouths over there :)

A turtle-like skull with a short nose and large, chubby cheeks full of muscle give these critters a strong bite, something to be avoided! They have a few small, backward-facing teeth- similar to a python, but not nearly as many. Two of the teeth on their bottom jaw can produce a mild venom to paralyze small prey. They have a thick, flat tongue, and plenty of sticky saliva to help them catch bugs to eat!
