Rookkit stalked through the forest quietly. As she took a step she tried to shake the stickiness off of her paw's pads but it didn't work. It never worked. Not here where there was constantly a shadow hanging over the forest. Each breath she let out rose into a white cloud, it was just that cold here. As if to remind her a chill ran down her back causing her black fur to fluffy out making her look much bigger then she was. Squinting her green eyes till they were only two thin lines, her nose twitched before she sneeze. The sound echoed through the forest, bouncing off of the dark trees around her. Shuddering she began to wonder how she had ended up in the dark forest. Glaring in front of her she concentrated on her memories. She remembered becoming an apprentice, Ravenkit had been right next to her shivering in excitement. Frecklednose had been watching them with her green eyes, her pride in them seemed to make her silver fur glow brighter, but after that nothing came up. An ache began to find it's way behind her eyes making her release a frustrated sigh.

The skinny, hairless tom, a fabled one from long ago- a story told to scare the kits of every clan to not follow his path or to follow rules- was there in the fresh. His skin has a glow, almost, in the shade. "What are you doing away from you're mentor. Has Pigeonclaw not spoken to you?" Thornstar growled, coming right up behind Rookkit. His dark, almost soulless looking amber eyes looked down upon the kit without any feeling.

Rookkit leaped, her green eyes wide in shock as she whirled around to see another cat, a fur less one. Her green eyes looked at his pink wrinkly skin, before searching for his eyes. She was so surprised to see another cat after so long that she thought her mind was playing tricks on her until she heard him speak. Turning around fully she watched him with her green eyes. " Pigeonclaw?" she questioned the name. It didn't sound the least bit familiar to her. She shook her head no, "I've never heard of that cat before, I've actually never seen another cat here before." She said in all honestly. She had been here for moons but in all her time roaming the dark forest she had never seen another sign of life, except for the occasional shadow she saw moving at the corner of her eyes.

"Interesting. I'm Thornstar. You're probably new here. Some cats get lost in this forest, no doubt there are others out here- but no matter. Follow. If you had out another further you'll hit the Midplain." He meows, turning around, his long, sharp claws naturally unsheathed (being born unable to sheath them) and digging into the mushy, gross earth. "You'll have a lot to learn little mollie(***). You'll have to tell me how you got here so young."

Looking over her shoulder Rookkit gave one last look to where she was heading before. She wondered if she should follow the strange cat. Flicking her tail she smiled before racing after Thornstar. Reaching besides him she looked up to him with her green eyes as she wondered who he was and what awaited her if she followed him. 'At least this is better then being alone.' she decided as she looked ahead of them. "I can't remember how I got here...all I remember was becoming an apprentice with Ravenkit." She mumbled the part about her brother quietly. "And I'm Rookkit," she said looking around nervously.

The tom hummed. "I've only met a few cats that forget their lives...when you die, you die as you last remember. Which is why you're still...pathetic looking. " Thornstar looked her over, almost bitterly. "That'll have to change. You won't survive a licking here like this. I'll mentor you until then. You have potential, even I'm this form."

Standing at the top of a ravine, Lilystorm gazed out over the forest, white and silver fur sparkling like the stars in the sky she lived in. Around her cats from the four clans killed about, interacting with one another as old friends, no longer enemies. Starclan was so peaceful and relaxing. Calming. It was still amazing to her, even now, how up here the divisions of the four clans no longer matters. Everyone is simply a cat, and here they can make friends with other cats, no matter where they come from. It was beautiful.

He hates this place. It was terrible and a cruel punishment. So what if he didn't live his life by the standards of the almighty Starclan? They were a load of foxdung anyhow. Foxdung!
Digging his claws into the damp, cold, bare earth beneath him, Amberclaw growled in frustration. He'd been here for so long he'd lost counts. It may have been moons or even seasons, he had no clue. Here the sky wasn't even visible so he couldn't tell for sure. "I need to get out of here..." he growls, baring his teeth angrily. He swore he'd go insane if he stayed in this eternal misery much longer.

'Of course we have potential.' Rookkit's right ear twitched, the unknown tear that was at the tip of it began to ache as she looked behind Thornstar and her. Confusion twisted her face as she looked for the source of the voice. Seeing no other cat besides her and Thornstar she figured she was hallucinating. Turning her gaze back infront of. "Do you really think I have potential?" she asked shyly. "What if I stay like this." she asked looking down to her small paws.

Longclaw was a while away from the other two cats when he felt something land on his back. Rolling his eyes, he quickly kicked Sorrelfang off of him and turned around to look at her. He tilted his head and his eyes sparkled in amusement. "You're seriously going to listen to that obnoxious tom?? I'll fight back if I have to, but I would rather not," he meows and licks his chest fur.
