{Star Trek: The Next Generation} Fan Club

Should this club be changed to one for Star Trek in general or should it stay a club for TNG only?

It should be converted to a club for Star Trek as a whole, I'd like to be able to talk freely about all series!

It should stay a TNG only club; there should be seperate clubs for seperate series.

It doesn't really matter to me either way.

Welcome Admiral and Lalnable! :3

Ever since last year when we got TV, I've been a TOS fan. It was my idea to start watching The Next Generation earlier this year, because I was seeing a lot of people talk about it, and I just had to see what it was like. So I did, and I loved it. c:

I checked online to see if my library had any Star Trek books, and they don't. :|

Has anyone else seen the original model of the Enterprise used in TOS? They have it on display at the Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. (on the bottom level of the gift shop, ugh). I know I have pictures of it, but they're on another computer, and I don't feel like digging them out at the moment. May try to find them later.

I know this isn't really TNG-related, but I'm just curious.

    I have, but at the time I wasn't interested in Star Trek, so it wasn't a big deal. I wish I could go back and snag a dozen pictures!

    Also, StarTrekFan4Life, does your library have the option to reserve and ship books from other libraries in the system? Mine does, which is why I can obtain most of the books. If yours does, I would seriously consider reserving books as soon as possible, as sometimes with the more popular of them it takes a while to filter.

    Randomness that is me also came out last night in my dreams. I had a dream that I was a student (more specifically, an android student) at a regular current high school. Although there was a lot more to the dream, Picard happened to be an evil school teacher who wanted to abduct all his students... it was a very strange dream indeed.

    There was also a Time Lord in the form of a chameleon as well...

@Admiral
I haven't. I didn't even know they had it on display at the Air and Space Museum.

@Cpt. Leland Rupert
I think it does, although I'm not sure.

That dream you had sounds weirder than all of my ST dreams. :what:

Same, Cpt. Rupert. I went about four years ago but wasn't into Star Trek.

I once had a lucid dream about Star Trek, and I flew up into space and boarded, and then I started having trouble controlling the dream and I don't remember what happened.

    I can only control dreams when I'm just starting to wake up, and typically only a few minutes before I do. However, if I do try to interfere the dream always becomes jumbled and breaks apart, so unless I'm having a terrible dream or one I just don't care about I don't mess with it. THAT dream was perhaps one of the weirdest... but now I can't get the image of Picard as a grumpy old principle out of my head. XD

    Don't even get me started on other dreams... nothing horrible, but just weird. I don't even understand my own mind sometimes.

Lucid dreaming is where you're aware that you're dreaming and you can completely control what happens. You can fly, teleport, create things out of thin air, whatever you want. Though things tend to happen the moment you think about them.

Anyone remember this episode? It showed up in my Youtube recommendations.

I just wanted to say thanks for letting me join! I love watching Star Trek, but the only person that ever watches it with me is my dad. Not that I don't love watching Star Trek with my dad.

@Cpt. Leland Rupert | I hope you don't mind if I just add something to the conversation :3 I have the strangest dreams. I had a dream where my mom was a man and she ran over the Hulk with a tractor. He turned into goop and went down a city drain.

*EDIT @ImmortalKitten | I legitimately don't think I've seen that episode, which is disappointing. Now I have to find it *-*

No problem. Thanks for joining! :D The only person that watches Star Trek with me is my mom. We always have fun picking at it together. XD

I should have started watching TNG a LOT sooner than I did. Now I'm behind on so many episodes. >.<

I always think I've ran out of episodes to watch, but suddenly there's one on TV I haven't seen. It's the best feeling when that happens :3
