Where were you the past few years? Well, it's not as much around as it used to be, but it still gets mentioned now and than so if you read the manga and looked around a bit you should have came across the anime XD Yes, there is an anime^^

I didn't watch all of it and I'm not the biggest fan of the story and I read more mangas as well, but I saw Black Butler used in signatures and amvs many many times.
