aww man guys I hope you are having fun at breyerfest!!! Make sure to take pics for the people who aren't going so we can live vicariously through you haha How is it going so far??! Last year I didn't really like any of the special runs (except for the pop the corks because nokota) but I sorta love all of them this year and i'm strugglin!! But next year!!! And maybe I will be able to find some on ebay eventually

@dalmation.- Yes! There's a OF (original finish) division and a CM (custom) division. It's mostly original finishes so that's the best thing to show unless you want smaller classes.

Show day was a lot of fun! Out of all my friend's and I's horses, 15 in total, 5 placed in their classes, one of which got second in its class and had the chance at being reserve champ (didn't get that, unfortunately, but he still did us proud!). The other four ribbons we got where various lower places, still great! Here's our placers, right after we packed up the rest of our show string and cleared our table-

(fun note; the bay is GG Valentine, with a factory flaw of no face marking! She has her back two socks on her feet, and a masking mark where her face marking should be but it's just her base color. It's my friend's mare- she didn't actually realize after she got her there was supposed to be a face marking, until she saw other models later and realized hers didn't have any. Haven't heard of that ever happening any time else on that model!)

It was so much fun, except all day I was itching to go get the Quelle surprises- there was a LOT of talk at the show as soon as they started getting revealed in the rest of BF and they took time to announce the mold they were on and the colors. Everyone was really excited. Not getting my chance until Sunday... hoping for the buckskin and the dark bay appy.

Afterwards we went to the Clarion to check out some room sales and the Artisan gallery- OH! And also, AnkhaCrossing, we saw you by Denny's! At least, we saw the etchie. I think you were also holding the buckskin Quelle surprise? We didn't have a chance to go talk to you because we had to go meet the person we were trading SR tickets with but it was kind of funny that I finally came across you at Denny's parking lot haha. Have been looking out for the etchie everywhere!

Sooo... Seems someone found a glossy Sato in the Breyer store and another got Make Me Blush (last year's contest horse) dirt cheap at about 3pm surrounded by Gooitzens! Keep your eyes peeled for rare stuff in there I tell ya' ;u;

That's awesome that you got snowman! I don't know when we'll be able to go to the saddlery to get another. But I need some picture taking advice. I should take pictures of the traditionals separate from the classic models, right?

FINALIZED HAUL:

UNKNOWN Pebbles Saddlebred etchie: $5
Paint is 100% the paint Stone uses and she's a perlino with 4 high stockings and etched on tobiano/face markings. Auction/BO model or custom, she was at a lovely price! Couldn't find ANY double dilute Saddlebreds on ref.

QVC glossy Chestnut Arabian Stallion g2 stablemate: $1
Couldn't stop myself from snatching an older (2002?) SR

Birthday Cake: $10
Missed her last year ;u;

Matte dark bay Appaloosa Quelle Surprise: $90
Started with a body chestnut at cost, traded for a good buckskin, traded it for a mint chestnut, then found my appy. Spent $5 on hoof repairs from Sheryl Leisure as there was a huge glob of plastic on one hoof

Buttercream: $75
LSQ, came with NAN cards and whatnot

Carpe Diem etchie: $40
Needed a rainbow horse this year but couldn't afford the WG so next best thing was him (:

Valvella: $40
Found her in a newly opened store that had tear-worthy prices (Jasmine the Weathergirl only $30? Buttercream $25? Party Girl $35 what?!) for $35 but she had a white streak on a leg where someone pulled out a hair. Now LSQ thanks to Sheryl

Needed to come home with at least ONE grail c;
