Ebonystalk noticed Frostwhisker's uncomfortable actions and he sighed. He's a bit twitchy. I don't know if we'll get along, he thought, still trying to see if he'd be friendly. "Um, how are you?" He queried, determined to see the real side of Frostwhisker. He wanted at least one friend. Yes, he wanted to be a Medicine Cat, but if he was stuck as a Warrior he might as well make some fellow Warriors friends while he waited for Hazelstar to announce the Medicine Cat.

Frostwhisker's eyes widened and her turned to face Ebonystalk fully, the surprise and awe on his face obvious. Why is he talking to me so casually? The tom thought, Is this some sort of a trick? Slowly his long fur settled back down and he began to quickly groom out the clumps of hair and miss that he had forgotten to remove after waking up. "Oh, I'm alright. I slept in too much, though..." He paused for a moment, raising his eyes to the tortoiseshell tom to see if Ebonystalk would take the opportunity to make fun of him. But nothing of the sort left the attentive warrior's lips. "Did you go on dawn patrol by yourself?" he added, returning to casually grooming his fur.

Ebonystalk studied the Tom's expression curiously. "Yes. Why?" he asked sharply, wondering why he was acting so... strange. Why is he acting like I'm going to attack him at any moment? He thought, wrapping his tail around his large paws. If Frostwhisker didn't start acting normal soon, Ebonystalk was going to have to casually dismiss himself from the conversation. He wanted one completely trustworthy friend that wouldn't act so awkwardly around him.

As he groomed through his long and thick fur, Frostwhisker quickly recovered from his frantic embarrassment and allowed himself to relax, muscles softening beneath his pelt as his tension slowly subsided. His ear flicked in acknowledgement of Ebonystalk's stark reply, but he knew that the tom was only suspicious because of how strange Frostwhisker had been acting. Since the younger tom had not been a warrior for long, he had only patrolled with Ebonystalk a few times. He knew barely anything about this cat sitting next to him. But for some reason, Frostwhisker was strangely at ease. "Well, I was just wondering, isn't that a bit dangerous? Without a medicine cat, what would you have done had you been injured alone in the forest?"

Silverfoot

She padded over to the apprentice den and waited for Firepaw to come out. "Firepaw!" She eventually called inside "Coming!" He called back. "Alright! Hurry up, we're going to practise hunting! "Here!" He jumped out of the den and raced ahead of her. "Come back!" Silverfoot yelled sternly. "Coming!" He turned and ran back. "Right, lets go, follow me!" She called and raced into the trees.

Firepaw

He raced after Silverfoot, his heart thumping with excitement. He came to a skidding stop when Silverfoot stopped.

(BTW, I had a conversation with Speck, and she agreed that HopeClan and LightningClan can be boarding clans! HopeClan is my clan, just so everyone know's. I'm going to leave a link to this clan on my Clan's front page, and @Speckleclaw101, will you do the same? I'm also posting replies soon.)

Ebonystalk twitched his whiskers in relief. He's finally acting normal! He thought, pricking his ears as he listened to Frostwhisker speak. Ebonystalk let out a mrrow of quiet laughter. "I know enough about herbs to heal myself. I've been studying since I was a kit," he mewed, coldness leaking through his forced friendly tone. "It was only too bad I was never picked as a Medicine Cat Apprentice."
