He looked around and thought about running the kits back to Minttail. He whispered something to Reefpaw.

He bit down on Bones's paw and flinched when Bones yowled.

"Nobody was there for me when I got rained on." he said softly.

Why do we have to hate foxes and badgers? Maybe if we tried to be friends there would be an alliance! Perhaps the clan would like it if we tried it, there's nothing to lose except some bit of pride but there's like no other clan so it wouldn't matter!
