Hi, and welcome to the Splatoon club~ ^.^

@Misti: It doesn't seem to take an overly-long time if you play really consistently (though every level does take more points to gain than the last). :3 I think I'm currently at level 16, myself, though I have missed the occasional day of playing since we got the game earlier this month (on the 4th). Also, I ended up focusing on clearing Octo Valley for a while. And then there are also the amiibo challenges, which I have been slightly distracted with... xD

Ermagersh. The next NA-region Splatfest starts at midnight toniiiiight~ @o@ I turned on the game today to see those huge stages on trucks sitting around the crowded plaza, all ready to go. SO STOKED.

Leveling became a bit of a pain for me once I got into ranked, though. For every one game I win I would say it wouldn't be inaccurate to assume I lose two more. So not only do I rank down, but if they're knockouts I don't get any exp/points at all... Oh, and I'm team waterslide for the Splatfest. I was on team cat last time... And we lost, heh. I just think that water is more fun than sitting in a cart... But I've never been on a roller coaster, so I guess I can't really talk about how fun they are.

You're so right; once we have enough members, and enough of them own the game, we should definitely all play together. And if we end up eventually getting 8 members or more with the game, we could even play some ALL-fanclub member matches once the option is available. Apparently, from what I've heard, friend-only matches will become available sometime this August with a big update.

The NA Splatfest is really fun so far. I was extremely excited when they actually decided to let me in 5 minutes early last night (I was waiting there for the event to start at midnight); I felt special. xD
Also, I was extremely surprised with the newly-added weapons last night. Somehow, I managed to hear nothing about such an update coming until it actually happened. o3o The Octobrush was an especially big surprise for me, since I had no idea such a thing even existed/was about to exist.

Yes, the Splatfest is great so far~ >w> It sort of feels like a big festival or something.
And I was totally oblivious to the new weapons, too. xD It was a pleasant surprise to see them just suddenly added to the game.
