he got out to the forest, not really paying attention to the two she-cats. he flicked his ear, hearing a little scuffle. he crouched down, making his tail straight, not wanting to rustle some leaves. as he padded forward, allowing his weight to go off of his paws. once he saw a little brown furry shape he smiled, then pounced. he sunk his claws into the little creature's shoulders, he could hear its warning or scard shriek clear as day. he swiftly bite it's neck, then picked it up and burred it. with a satisfied smile he looked back at creekfrost and roseclaw.

[ by the way, maple isn't going to join the clan for a while, i want her to find forbidden love with another apprentice before she joins to be with him. c:< ]

maple padded boredly through the woods, looking around. she was rather bored and had nothing to do. it wasn't like she had friends or family or anything. it was just her, maple, a small but tall for her size japanese bobtail with a few tortoiseshell markings and maple-leaf amber eyes.

creekfrost was crouching, her tail pressed against the surface of the earth so that she could hear movement. this was a trick that the clan cats didn't yet know. if you put your tail on the surface of the ground, stayed very still after that, then you could feel movement ripple through your tail. a few fox-lengths away, roseclaw was doing the same. suddenly, creekfrost leaped gracefully and silently, pouncing on a rather large bird. she bit into its neck, digging her claws into it's side, and waited for it to go limp. she had trouble dragging it over to them, but she managed to. rose also caught a plump weasel. [creek caught a turkey btw x3]

he nodded at the two, pretty pleased.

creekfrost purred, "is this good enough?" she asked, pushing the turkey and the plump weasel forwards. roseclaw had been a hunter back when they lived in their old group, creekfrost was of course, the leader, but she was a great huntress as well.

he nodded, dropping his mouse by their kill. good job. I wouldn't have expected less of you. he meowed, kind of weary.

dawn grunted, what's in it for you? he asked, keeping
himself hidden in the den. he disliked exiting the
comfort of his new den, but knew he would have
to abandon it sometime, right? he exited the den
with a long sigh. what do you want?

Sparrow had relaxed slightly by now, and eventually opted to stand up, and look around the camp a bit for himself. He carefully padded towards the Warriors den, and poked his head inside of the area, examining what was inside.

creekfrost purred, roseclaw stood beside her. they nodded. "well, should we take this back to the camp?" creekfrost asked, flicking her tail softly.

rainwhisker was still showing the cats around. "this is the warrior's den, where most of you will be staying soon."

maple looked around, flicking her tail. she heard a snap and twitched, her amber eyes narrowing. "who is there?! show yourself!" she growled.

dawn grunted, what's in it for you? he asked, keeping

with a purr he nodded, picking up his kill with a wave of his tail he padded to the direction of camp.
