Adderstripe slowly opened his eyes, and yawned. He slowly got up, and walked out of the warrior's den. He picked up a small mouse from the fresh-kill pile, and padded to a shady spot on the edge of the camp. He quietly ate it, while observing the other cats, hoping one of them would go up to him, and talk to him.

SwallowStar padded out farther into the heath, and opened her jaws, trying to scent for any rabbits. After settling on a scent, she twitched her tail to tell WhiteTalon where the rabbit was, before following it quietly.

BirdLight nodded. "Alright! Let's go. If you need to gather herbs along the way, I can help carry them." she offered, padding to the entrance. still unaware of the stalker

MapleWish yawned, sitting up from her nest. She was still not in the mood to get out of her den, so she lay back down, listening to the murmur of cats talking outside.

"Okay...shouldn't need to pick up much if we run across anything...I'm pretty much stocked like a squirrel for winter..." She mewed with a smile. She saw Adderstripe and flicked her tail happily back and forth. She wasn't one for judging a cat by its looks.

He nodded, and crept around flanking, prepared to drive it towards her.

Adderstripe noticed Clovermist, and grinned at her. "Hey Clovermist!" he said, walking up to her, still smiling. "What are you up to?"

The warm greenleaf breeze brought a surge of warmth to Lionfur's golden and white pelt. The new grass tickled her paws as she stalked her prey through the forest, a small brown rabbit, and with each step she could smell her prey better and could almost imagine how it wold taste. Her stomach growled, and she winced mentally as she had to remind herself of the warrior code: The clan must eat first. Steeling her resolve, she lowered her belly to the ground, her tail straight and still, and began to slowly creep up on her kill. With each second her muscles began to tense with energy, ready to strike. She took three more steps, before her prey looked around, alert. This was the time! Unleashing all the energy in her coiled muscles, she lept at the rabbit and killed it with a single bite to the throat. Purring loudly with pride, she began to carry the mouth-watering prey back to the clan.

MapleWish had finally gotten up, and padded outside to watch the cats walk around, sitting back down in the shade.
