Brackencloud

Brackencloud was looking at the familiar trees when she saw the shape of a shriveled cat. "You poor thing! What happened to you?" Brackencloud looked this cat up and down and could not believe the state she was in.

Leona wearily looked up, her olive eyes looking dead and empty as she struggled to place one paw in front of the other.

Her lowered head rose slowly, "Th..thank goodness."

The last of her energy left with those words, as it didn't take long for her to collapse into her side once again. She mewled weakly in pain.

Brackencloud

Brackencloud didn't want to leave this cat but she needed to eat and what good was she if she just stayed by this cats side and hoped for another cat in her clan to show up. "Stay here I am going to find some prey, holler if you need me. I'am Brackencloud by the way." Brackencloud reluctantly left the cat behind. Not before long she picked up the scent of the mouse and followed it away from the starving cat.

The medicine cat apprentice was out gathering some herbs and bumped into another apprentice who was sitting in the clearing. "Why hello, I was just out gathering some poppy seeds. Care to help?"

"Oh hi, sure." Maplepaw was startled by sagepaw's sudden appearence. She didn't know where poppy seeds were found but she wanted to know.

Brackencloud quickly caught the mouse and returned to the cat. "Eat. So what is your name?" Brackencloud didn't like referring to her as the cat.
