Lynxkit felt left out, and padded outside. He gazed down at the prey, thinking of a game. "Catch the prey!", he meows, picking up a mouse, placing it down, and then practicing his hunter's crouch.

Petalpaw looked over at Honeypaw "do you think one of these kits might me a healing kind of kit, just think...maybe you'll be able to mentor one of them" she chuckled. Petalpaw saw Lynxkit head out of the nursery and came up behind him watching his crouch and giggled "lower your tail a bit and relax a litte, don't be so tense" she smiled crouching down next to him. "Then eye your prey, thenn....POUNCE" she exclaimed as she jumped right next to the mouse.

Honeypaw eyed the kits "Maplekit looks like one" she meowed

He watches petal paw in awe, and copied what she did, though his paws were not straight and he still was tensed. He leapt forward, quickly, though had a rough landing. "Was that ok?".

Honeypaw shook her head "Why do I bother?"

Petalpaw giggled "a bit, if you stay to tense you could hurt yourself" she smiled before patting hid head with her tail. She looked up at Honeypaw and nodded "honey and Maple, what a sweet combination" she grinned before looking back down at Lynxkit. "If you keep practicing your crouch you're sure to amaze your mentor when you get older"

Honeypaw laughted "Yummy"

Petalpaw smiled, she got a laugh out of Honeypaw. Big step right there in making friends. "Are you busy right now Honeypaw? Do you wanna play with Lynxkit and me?"

"No, but I guess I can play" Honeypaw meowed.

Lynxkit continues to pounce, getting better each time. After a little practice, he gazes for something to pounce on. Seeing a leaf calmly staying still, he slowly pads forward, looking forward, and focusing his gaze upon this leaf.
