I walked carefully through the forest trying not to trip on anything.Hawk walked beside me.I heard the squirrel right away "What is it"? I whispered to hawk.I nodded and waited until I heard the squirrel infront of me.I lunged and just barely got it.The squirrel squirmed out of my grasp and tried to run.I turned in the direction hawk was "Did you get it"?

I walked beside Silver holding my left leg tightly to my chest.I heard something in the distance and saw a squirrel."It's a squirrel", I whispered and limped forward being careful not to make any noise.Once I got behind the squirrel I growled and chased it towards Silver.I saw the squirrel get away and lunged pinning it down under my right paw then gave it a killing bite."I got it" I said.

Frostpaw opened his jaws and scented the air. So many smells flooded him at once; mice, dung, soil, and the pungent smell of plant life. Frostpaw wrinkled his nose, there shouldn't be that much scent in one place. He walked over to the spot where Calypso and Raven had been that night. "It looks like someone tried to hide a scent," he meowed in surprise.

"Me either," she admitted. She sighed, "When I do hunt, it usually ends with a situation like last night." she meowed, remembering the fateful meeting she had with Roamingheart while hunting a squirrel.

I ate my share of the squirrel and let Hawk eat his.My stomach growled, this was the first food I had had in days.
