She nods and stands beside him. Then she begins walking in the direction of the beach. Her paws not making a sound on the round. She had been taught that by her mother who wasn't a soft kittypet. Her other had crawled through twoleg place snatching any food she could find. And she was hard on Frozenfeather wanting her daughter to me just like her. And that was when her father snapped, he and her mother got into a huge fight and Frozenfeather had watched her mother be killed right in front of her. Then her father ran away. She shook away the thoughts and focused on what was happening. The past was in the past and that was where it was going to stay.

"Yes." Shiningpaw said with a touch of pride in her voice. She kept her eyes on her target, but abruptly got out of her crouch and turned toward Darkshadow. "What's it to you?"

Looking towards the beach, he smiled a little in anticipation. Turning his head, he could see Frozenfeather deep in thought, and padded up until he was beside her, their fur slightly brushing. "Are you okay? You seem like something's bothering you."

"Better," Rowanflame panted, "But still sloppy." Shoving the other cat off of him, he shook his flank, specks of blood dappling the ground. "I need you to be able to do moves like that when you're not angry."

Calypso nodded, "Me too." Looks like she and this energetic young cat would be allies for awhile. Her mood lifted with the thought of not being alone, and she flicked her tail. "Hungry? We should hunt."

"Okay!" Frostpaw followed eagerly, slipping and falling more than once. He did wonder if he would do more harm than good if they did happen upon some rogues.

"Would you like to hear the story?" She asks feeling their pelts brushing. But she really didn't care. She was still feeling sad. No matter what her mother had done no matter how cruel she had been she was still her mother and she had loved her.

Looking at her, he could see how sad she was. "Only if you want to share it. I'm not going to pressure you."

He dipped his broad head. "Understood." Looking up at the cat, he sat down, "So are we going to learn now, or are we going to wait until another time... It's probably about time for me to wake up."

Raven looked up to the she-cat, she purred," We should!" She mewed with excitement. The small dark tabby had taught herself how to hunt since she was raised alone.
