Rowanflame chuckled at Shadowpool's aggression. "Eager, aren't we? That's good." He circled Shadowpool, observing his physical aspects. "Alright then," Rowanflame meowed, satisfied by what he saw, "Why don't we begin with showing me what you've got?" The large brown tom crouched down, indicating that Shadowpool should attack.

Frostpaw approached his mentor on the stepping stones. "Glasseyes?" he asked brightly, "Can we do some training today?" He was very eager to do some hunting or fighting or patroling, even though he wasn't particularly good at any of these.

"My name?" she asked, a little incredulously. Most cats acted exactly as she expected them to when she recruited them to the Dark Forest, but this one was definitely a bit odd. "It's Shadowsong," she answered.

Calypso had been walking with the young she-cat for awhile in silence. She stopped and turned to look at Raven. "What do you want to do? Should we go back our separate ways, or stick together?" she asked.

She looks over at him. "So where do you want to hunt?" She asks. She always loved hunting. And having him there was even better. "Do you have any family that you live with or are you all alone?" She asks. She knew how it felt to be alone and didn't want him to feel the same way as she had.

"I travel alone, but I'm not a very social cat as it it." he chuckled, "You're my only friend." Looking up, he felt a tug at his heart. He shook out his pelt, and shrugged. "My parents are kittypets. They always tell me that they'll take me back if I want, but I prefer this life." He turned to Frozenfeather, "I don't know much about Forestclan territory. Where do you want to hunt?"

He ran forward, slamming the cat with all of his weight.

"Frost paw!" Glasseyes said with a smile as she turned her ears in the direction of her apprentice. "Yes I'm sorry I've forgotten my warrior duties." The blind shecat said, "I was just going on a walk but we can go patrolling instead."

"I don't know anywhere will work. Or we could just play on the beach? I love that place and sometimes there are water voles." She says licking her jaws. "My mother was a kittypet and my father was a rogue, they got into a fight right after my brother and I were born. And then they left us. I didn't even know their names. And my brother didn't survive long out in the wild. When I was a little older the clan took me in and that is the life I have known since." She tells him and begins walking. "There is usually prey near places with little places for them to sneak into."

Rowanflame was thrown backwards a few paces, but quickly regained his footing. He gave a harsh laugh. "Is that all? A kit could've seen that attack coming," he hissed. "If that's your best, than maybe we made the wrong decision bringing you here."

Frostpaw's face lit up. "Patrolling? That's perfect!" he meowed, smiling brightly. He tried not to remember last time, where he had ended up marking the border two foxlengths closer than it actually was, and to top it off it was on top of a rather nasty pile of poison ivy.

He nodded at her. "I like the beach. It's beautiful at this time of day." he purred, smiling at her. "And, like you said, there may even be some prey there." Perking his ears, he looked around again. "We'll just have to make sure that we don't get caught."

Snarling, he leapt again, pinning the cat to the ground. He unsheathed his claws, and clawed the cat's spine, and bit at the back of his neck angrily.

Shadowpaw blinked at Dovesight, she was speechless and hurt to learn the truth. She sighed as she finally figured out why the clan didn't like her as much," I'm a kit from a cold blooded killer." She said softly

Raven looked at her, she was quite young, but hyper," I'm not sure, I am just a young loner, but I seem to enjoy being with someone for a change."
