Magpiestep got to his paws as the meeting concluded and many warriors went over to congratulate the two newly made warriors. It was a bit of a crowd over there, so he decided he would go congratulate them later, perhaps before their silent vigil. His tail stood straight up, the very tip of it flicking back and forth occasionally. Magpiestep padded over to Stormnose who was sitting alone, "So, how do you feel about the new apprentice?" He asked, attempting to start up a conversation.

Tawnystripe watched her brother walk away to go talk to another warrior, before getting up herself. She noticed Birchclaw playing with three of the kits and padded over to them. "Hello there." She greeted with a friendly smile. "Mind if I join in?" She asked, directing the question towards the three kits.

Stonefoot listened silently as Maplepaw and Pikepelt went through with their conversation. [ writer's block ]

Spottedkit kept her excited smile on her face as Rainkit talked with Willowkit, and when Rainkit asked the other kit what she wanted to play, she turned her head towards the blind kit and waited for her answer.

Seeing that Bramblingfang walked away, Gingerstar allowed herself a sigh. She had been functioning on little rest, and needed some sleep. She padded to the leader's den, and curled up on her moss nest. As she fell asleep, she heard a voice say: Beware of the danger... But being asleep meant that she couldn't puzzle out what the prediction meant.

Pikepelt laughed softly. "Almost no new warrior fits in the warriors' den right away. It takes a few moons of growing. But there are more than enough older warriors so that you can feel comfortable in your new den." The warrior remembered the first moon, shivering from the constant cold. How she wished she hadn't been made a warrior in leaf-bare! she remembered thinking.
