Nightecho soon caught another water vole and a shrew. He sighed feeling satisfied with his catches and brought the three rodents back to where he had left the patrol.

Graycloud finished grooming herself and looked around camp. She saw Whisperstar who seemed... alone, so she stood up and padded over. "Good morning Whisperstar," she greeted. "Did you sleep well?" She asked.

"Alright, let's get back to camp then." he said, picking up his prey.

She padded over to Cherryfrost, "Hello." she said brightly, smiling.

"I don't see why not." she shrugged, picking out a mouse.

Graycloud shrugged, "I simply wasn't assigned to one," she briefly explained. "I suppose there has to be somebody to watch camp," she meowed dramatically, grinning slightly.

She rolled her eyes. "I know how you feel I watch over camp all the time, but that's my duty as Clan leader." she sighed softly and looked back at Graycloud. "I'll try to remember to let Sprucewind let you on a patrol whenever the next one is." Whisperstar offered kindly
