My biggest problem with it is this;
MatPat said that on the night four phone call from Phone Guy, when Phone Guy speaks about "The backroom", he's speaking about the safe room. But this doesn't make sense. If Phone Guy was calling from the room itself, or while he was stepping in the suit, how could he have? Did they even have cellphones in the 90's? Weren't they those horrible brick phones? And also, it was Purple Guy who lured and smashed the animatronics, it wasn't the animatronics that chased him to the safe room.
Also, do you really think Scott would think back that far? I don't. When it comes to creating compelling stories, most things just happen and are rarely planned.
And I'd like to hear your chicken wing theory on the Golden Freddy suit. Because I believe that it is the "Spring Freddy" that is mentioned.
Simultaneous storywriting doesn't always happen. Think of Homestuck. It has the most complex plot of anything I've ever seen, read, or heard of, and the comic is only just now covering mysteries from years ago.
And I don't actually have a full chicken wing theory on Golden Freddy yet, other than the fact that given his design versus Springtrap's, I don't think it's likely that he's one of those suits made to be worn. (It's mostly because he has four fingers versus five like Springtrap.)
Besides, if you listen to Phone Guy again on Night 6 in 2, he says, "
the yellow one." Not
a yellow one, which would imply that there was more than one. That alone should probably disprove any theories about Golden Freddy being a wearable animatronic, if the yellow suit mentioned was Springtrap and the incident mentioned was the one in which Purple Guy was killed.
”And if they ever hear my name, will they know I walked alone
Around these dusty streets, my tired old home?
And will they ever stop to think what was here before? no
They won't remember that I'm gone"
