Summertime at last (New and accepting!)

Jae figured that by 'They' he meant his parents. Both of his parents died and he has cancer, I felt a pang of sympathy for him and wanted to say something comforting but didn't want to bring it up again. A thousand questions went through my mind, like when did they die? How? When did you get cancer? What kind of cancer? Do you miss them? And how much? Thorns had such a nice smile, I noticed how white his teeth were and made a mental note of the exact shape his lips made at this moment. Noticing that I must have been staring and he could probably tell, I tore my eyes away and focused on the little kitten licking my hand. I wanted to keep his smile there, so I ignored my questions and went with his subject change. "Y-yeah, cats like me sometimes I don't really know why, they're really nice and stuff, y'know? Like, you have them so I guess you do, and you're really nice so I guess it goes like that, I mean that your cats are--" My voice was shaky and I was rambling on too fast about absolutely nothing. I took my hand out of my jacket pocket and placed it on my knee, digging my fingernails into my skin,"sorry."

Jenna woke up and got dressed then did her hair and makeup.She was happy,summer was here!She sat in the garden in a chair sipping lemonade on her phone.She was on Instagram scrolling through pictures of people with their girlfriends and boyfriends.She sighed and turned off her phone.She wondered if this would be her summer of love or if she would be left alone like usual.

Aiden couldn't help but laugh. "Yea I understand what you mean." The smile on his face didn't go away and he looked at Cheeto. Cheeto was now walking over to Pumkin and started to sniff Jae as well. After Cheeto had sniffed Jae, she walked back to to Aiden and he started to pet her again. "So umm.. What's your backstory?" He asked Getting curious. Jae already knew a little bit about himself so he would like to get to know Jae more. Aiden also found it adorable at the fact that he started to ramble about nothing. Wait. Did he just admit to having a crush on the younger male? It was really nothing new to him, but he thought it was strange. He had known Jae for what? An hour? An hour an a half? He made a mental note to himself to not stalk him during his sleep. Not like he had thought about it already.

"Hmm... I think there's a pool in town somewhere. Or maybe a zoo?" Memory thought out loud. "And even though we just properly met I feel like I've known you for years." She laughed. "You seem pretty cool."

Kian was in for both ideas "So pool or zoo?" he said and then agreed "Yeah same here and your pretty cool too because even your name is cool,Memory." he said smiling still and of course eating another biscuit.

"Thanks." Memory smiled. "You're name is pretty cool too. I've never met someone named Kian before." She paused, thinking about what they could do. "Since it's still early maybe we could do both? I brought my wallet with me." She explained. "We could go to the zoo first, then if it gets hot we can chill out at the pool for a while."

Kian nodded "Thanks!" he said and then listened to her idea it sounded like a great idea!He nodded "I got my wallet too!" he said laughing "Yeah sounds great!Shall we get going soon then?" he said a little excited because he loved the zoo with all the animals there and he also loved to chill out at the pool.

Kian laughed and got up and left the shop walking with her.He headed towards the zoo excitedly with her,this would be so much fun.He was in love with animals they were the cutest things ever and he loved them.When she asked the question he replied "Err I would have to say the lions because my mother looks after the cubs at the place and sometimes I go and visit her and the cubs, she named one after me witch I think is a little dumb but still." he said as they made it to the zoo "We could go play with them later if you like?" he said happily and excitedly.
