so i've created my first roleplay.

what makes for a successful roleplay? what motivates you to actually start planning?
a good original plot is always a great thing but theres gotta be people who like legit want to do it
not just people join out of the spur of the moment
because lets face it, we've all done that before
and all it does is fill up the role play with people who never actually post
if i don't intend to plan i don't join a role play so finding that motivation usually isnt an issue

who/what caused you to discover and take an interest in coding? or roleplaying, for that matter.
i have honestly no clue what got me into role playing
i know i started with warrior cats and wolves but as far as actually "starting" i just sorta... did it lol
and my coding just sort of evolved as my writing did
i certainly got inspiration from diem, deffs and the gang tho <3

if it is like a tv show grab, there's this program that takes the grabs for you,
then you can upload to lunapic (since lunapic offers multiple img upload/time setting)

what is the hardest part of coding for you?
probably layouts, a few color scheme issues, and finding the right face claim.
also, being the perfectionist i am, i adjust text size a lot so that everything is perfectly aligned most times.

do you hate it when people use famous faceclaims?
i'm unsure of how to word my reasoning for it to make sense, but i wouldn't say hate. more like aggressively dislike?
it's not so much the fact that they are using a famous face claim, but the circumstances they use them under.
for example, if you use a famous singer/actor face claim in a romance rp. i also find there is also either not as much originality in the character's personality or a complete 180-degree turn to the celebrity's personality in actuality. it all depends, but most of the time, i don't like it. it is hard to find a face claim, but you know, i'd rather someone who isn't well-known and isn't easily recognized by first glance.

what makes for a successful roleplay? what motivates you to actually start planning?
hmm, that's quite a tough question, but a few are:
1) unique and detailed plots so that i know what i'm getting myself into
2) active communication/discussion with your partner(s) concerning the rp, development of plot, interaction between characters etc.
3) decent coding is pretty nice, but not mandatory
there are a lot of factors that attract me to rps and i'd like to see in more, but a few of those, i can't quite put a finger on myself.

i don't know about coding, but rping was something that wasn't new even when i had just started. i'd already loved writing since i was a child, so i adapted pretty well. i also have a love for art, so as i rped, i stumbled upon a lot of beautiful character forms and i said, "well, hey, incorporating art into my posts seems pretty fun too".

!!! oh, and hey guys, if it's not too much trouble, i need some input on this form. it's fairly simplistic already,
but i feel like something big is missing and i have a hunch it might have to do with the color scheme or lack [of variety] thereof.
