Guzore turned around from conversing with Sapphire and Della to see Jack looking at them.
Hey, Jack!
Upon looking at him further, he looked a little off from his usual self. He seemed unphased by the calling of his name.
Brother, are you feeling alright?

Does this Goron call everyone Jack? Jack was pretty sure that the use of "brother" to address anyone was a norm for Goron vocabulary, but Jack had never heard of a Goron addressing strangers as "Jack". Wouldn't that get confusing if someone actually was called Jack?
The Goron's puzzled look as Jack wondered about these philosophical questions brought him back to the conversation, if you could call it one.
"Uh, yeah... I've been better, I think. Maybe I haven't..." Jack drifted off before he managed to stay somewhat on topic. "Oh! Forgot to introduce myself! I'm..." Uh oh. What was he called again? Panicking, Jack grabbed the first name that came to mind, "Jack! My name is Jack."
Jack didn't know whether it was his imagination or not, but he thought he saw some of the other people in the room give him strange looks. What do people usually do after introducing themselves?

Uh... Jack, we've already met. Are you really sure you're okay?
Guzore grew more suspicious of Jack as he acted more strange than usual. Or was this his usual self? He'd always been a quiet man... Although with his heavy clothing and masked face, it would be hard to tell that he even was a man.

Jack blinked slowly as questions filled his head. At least one of his old questions was answered. This Goron, indeed, did call everyone Jack. Wait. Had Jack said that Jack was himself? Or had the Goron's calling him Jack made Jack think that Jack was Jack? No, that's right. Jack had called himself Jack... because... shoot. Jack was thoroughly confusing himself by now.
"Yeah, Jack is pretty sure Jack is ok. This Jack, that is. I, Jack, not other Jacks, can confidently confirm that the Jack in question, which also happens to be me, Jack, that is, is... wait. What was the question?"

Uh, I think you should lie down for a bit, brother.
Guzore remembered what he saw Zephyrus do when the Poes attacked and when he heard Della scream. At the time, he didn't think much of it. Maybe there was something going on with all of them though. Could it be Gregal's doing?
This isn't you, Jack. What happened? Did Gregal do anything to you?

Sapphire heard whispers echo around her. It didn't appear that anyone else could hear them.
Sapphire...
It was more than a whisper this time.
I have a favor to ask of you, Sapphire...

Sapphire looked around wildly, hearing voices speak to her. She then stuttered out loud, "W-what do you want! Why are you sp-speaking to me!" Sapphire continued to dart her gaze around frantically, searching for the source of the mysterious voice.

Guzore turned around and looked at Sapphire.
I'm not talking to you Sapphire, I'm talking to Jack.
The whispers continued.
Sapphire, take the painting from Guzore. Take the painting...

Sapphire looked at the painting in Guzore's hands. It looked fancy, but old. A look of confusion and suspicion came across her face. "Why the painting? It's not mine, so it would be a little weird to take it. I mean, I theoretically could, but Guzore might not approve of that. Why do you need it?"

Guzore turned around from talking to Jack once again.
Sapphire, now you're acting strange too. Are you feeling alright?
Stop talking and take the painting while he's not looking. They might get suspicious if you keep talking to me. Tell them you feel completely fine.

Sapphire looked at Guzore. "A strange voice is speaking to me through my head. It wants me to take that painting. I am not falling for it, and in case it manipulates my mind after disobey it, be wary, because I might not be myself. I would guard that painting well, in case the voice asks anyone else. I can tell the voice really, really wants it. Speaking of the painting, why do you want it, mysterious disembodied voice? I am not taking the painting from Guzore, but you might as well explain to me why you need it so badly." Sapphire made a pouty face.
