☁ quite alien!
☁ is very curious, to the point of it being unbearable to suppress, about some things; regards almost any measures taken to satisfy these curiosities as justified
☁ despite her shadow's occasional attempts to possess her, she still loves it - is fascinated by it, in fact, though it never crosses her mind to find it the power it craves (it's hers, after all; why would she, when she could just keep it close to look at?)
☁ likes meeting other people's shadows and is often careless about boundaries when studying them; doesn't regard shadows as people or as sentient, no matter how intelligent they seem
☁likes to play with words: roll consonants around in her mouth, snap out plosives, only touch faintly on vowels, alliterate. people who don't understand her are clearly sadly inferior when it comes to parsing words - she may feel pity for them, but rarely to the extent that she won't quickly become exasperated. it couldn't possibly be her fault. what a ludicrous idea!
☁ loves insects, especially swarms! (not to the extent that she won't kill them without a thought, as long as there are still enough to take their place. they're not people, after all!). but hates for other people to see her enjoying being near them - it seems undignified to her
☁ has really weird colour sense. it's a good job she doesn't usually wear clothes, because man. weird.
☁ just ignores people she doesn't like or feel equipped to deal with. honestly doesn't understand why people get annoyed. it's for the best if they don't interact if interaction makes them both unhappy, right?
☁ does not like water. it makes her smoke all weird. let's not even talk about the hair
☁ trapping something that she considers a person is the worst act she can imagine. she won't like anyone who does this, even for a few seconds
☁ she doesn't think about it often at all, but it does really bother her that she can't remember her life before Tumult was her shadow. if asked she'll probably brush it off, but it's one of the things she's most sensitive about
☁ is really terrible at acting. genuinely awful
shadow's name: goes by Tumult or Indra [lit. 'possessing drops of rain'; name of Hindu warrior god of wind and rain] depending on how it's feeling (although it can usually only be heard when possessing). Cinomihr doesn't give it any particular name.

☁ the shadow is bottled for good reason. some child loved the storm that passed over their house in the summer so much that they kept a wisp of it in a jar; now a living, semi-sentient fragment of humid summer stormcloud hangs in the bottle, deceptively still, always searching for a chink or crack to widen
☁ it yearns constantly for the great crackling power it once had - if freed it possesses its wearer to search for said power (it seems to 'infect' Cinomihr's smoke)
☁ it has been so long now that it can hardly remember a thing about its previous incarnation - only the heady joy of so much control and possibility - and so when it does break free it becomes progressively more frustrated, not knowing where to go but knowing it's not there yet
☁ it shares Cinomihr's hatred of those who trap others, though its definition of person is (naturally) wider than hers
☁ its first few possession attempts, it disregarded other dolls and their shadows as both inferior and irrelevant, beyond notice; after a few years of being trapped and subject to the will of a being that it knew instinctively it could have crushed with a thought in its previous incarnation, it gained a certain awareness of, if not resignation to, its position, even a little sympathy for other shadows - though said sympathy is sharply reduced if it discovers that they bound themselves to their dolls willingly
☁ it has thus far not possessed Cinomihr for long enough to realise that it cannot exist without her love, proprietary and restrictive though it may be. just like her, it does not remember how she and it came to be bound
☁ some things will at least partly satisfy the craving for the power it half-remembers: power over others, high-stakes gambling, electricity, adrenaline... they may even be sufficient to distract it, for a while, from what's missing. an unfortunate side effect of the nature of all of these pursuits is that it almost invariably leaves Cinomihr in a worse state when she regains control of her body, but the shadow doesn't care about that

Gabriel has the dubious honour of being another subject of curiosity for Cinomihr. Floating effortlessly as she does, his wings fascinate her; as a result, she will gravitate to him in almost any situation with smiles, sometimes-intrusive questions and a frequent disregard for personal space. The fact that Gabriel is afraid of storms is, consequently, only one of many reasons he tries to avoid her and her cloudy shadow. This said, it doesn't seem like this obvious aversion will deter Cinomihr's curiosity any time soon.
Lizzie is also enrapturing to Cinomihr… but only on stage. Though she attends every performance she can of the superhero-actress' troupe, once Lizzie steps off stage Cinomihr is utterly uninterested in her - frustrating for Lizzie, whose occasional attempts to get Cinomihr to join a production as a villain-turned-hero, or vice versa, don't even seem to be heard.

Relationship with Itazura; Emyr and Itazura do not get along, to say the least. When they were dolls in the human world, they had an argument upon meeting on the way to the Dollhouse and have been bitter about it ever since, it was a battle of words which Emyr won and Itazura lost. No matter how much the latter tries to initiate a rematch, Emyr is uninterested.
